Appearance: Stern. The word is in itself enough to describe this man's features. He has a chiseled appearance which could be counted as a noble look if not for the slightly unnatural wrongness of his features. It's as if this human was cut from the finest marble and made living by some spell. His eyes are cold, far colder than mere emotion can make them and it is quite obvious that this wizard has some kind of permanent enchantment active. His eyes are blue and would remind one of frozen glass. This chill can be felt on his skin as well, if touched.

Personality Profile: Straight to business. Andros hates wasting time on unecessary pleasantries and thinks a false smile is a sign that he's going to be stabbed in the back. He has a cruel sense of humour but does not engage in cruelties himself. A life spent growing up in a society of power hungry mages and harsh plotting ought to have left his mind fractured to a degree, yet there seems to be nothing but cold iron in his heart. The iron warms somewhat to those he views as his allies and often extends to a protective sense of familiarity even though the other part might be a human or even a drow. Like most people in the Underdark he is somewhat racist to anyone and everything not of Deep Imaskari blood.

Lately he's been warming up on a general scale, having found that those false smiles can work in his favour. Driven, curious and protective of what he values, he's an odd Imaskari mage with a mind made for analytical science. To anyone who would make a closer examination of his personality; they'd most likely find him to be an information-addict. His sometimes wreckless act in social conventions tending towards a mild case of savantism. Most people just assume he's an arrogant bastard.

Background: At the age of seven, the Imaskari boy could cast cantrips. Years later he was engaged in his first few experiments as an apprentice. Like his two brothers he eventually grew curious of the world outside the Imaskar realm. He was cleansed of every memory of how to find his home and then sent into the pitch black tunnels of the Underdark. He has managed to survive for years, his twenty-fifth birthday spent cleaning his robe from the acidic remnants of an exploded gelatinous cube.

His first days in the dark were spent alongside two others of his kin. Both were wizards like him but neither had the luck to survive for more than a few months. Hiring a band of drow mercenaries, Andros was able to see sights of the Underdark he would never even imagine in his most dreadful nightmares. But to him these sights were beautiful, all things new and exciting, even an Illithids foul presence stimulated curiosity for understanding.

This eventually lead him to S'shamath. A drow city ruled by mages and with more freedom than he'd ever thought possible in a society run by imbecille elves. He's most likely made himself a few enemies, having already run into the local group of young males looking to find an easy target for their spite. He bit back hard, and they bit off more than they could chew. Andros has left more than a few people fuming with anger but never enough to warrant outright murder. Why? Most likely because it's not worth it. He's just a rivvil after all.

Making himself useful has been his only redeeming quality so far. He's a mage and with those talents comes a usefulness that can be harnessed by anyone with the right sense of flattering or with the right amount of gold. Within S'shamath he has been seen with various charming personalities best left unnamed.


Over the years his long list of experiments has grown. Rarely successful in other than taking things apart to see what they're made of, such things include objects of magical design, gems, rocks, illithids and the native plantlife of the Underdark. Some are more questionable than others and it is unlikely he's gone unnoticed.



Goals: To become a master of the arcane arts.
