Squire Angelica Celeste replies to the task given to her by Knight General Uriel Honorblade.

My Knightly valor means that I will stand against any enemy or threat with the greatest determination and faith. I will only reatreat when the battle is a hopeless battle or my commander gives me the order to retreat. I will never leave any brother or sister in arms helpless behind on a battlefield, and I will fight for the good cause even if my life is at risk.

I think my valor got tested yesterday, when I went on a mission with sirs Uriel and El'Aust and seven other warriors, to fight the threat of an evil man summoning monsters from the hells. We fought waves of demon and devil and I never fell back. The battle was very hard and the enemy terrifying. Some of us fell, but we drowe on and won the battle killing the evil summoner. We all returned back, even magical healing and ressurection was used.

Fields of the Dead- I have spent a great deal of time here as I promised Sir Thiago I would ensure to keep the North safe from the undead that lie within the Fields. I’ve made a new friend it seems in the form of a Hawk that has grown to following me from above. I believe he is after the mice that I scare up as I move along the fields and combat the undead within. During the day it is not as bad as one might think but at night it is always a test. I’ve decided to give the Hawk a name. Fonzie. He seems like a Fonzie, atleast I think it is a he.. I am no Ranger or Druid so I really can’t tell *he draws a smiley face*. But Fonzie has helped a few times by crying out when danger was near. I will continue to keep these postings regular. If I am needed please seek me out but becareful, things are still dangerous here, but I am trying my best to solve the issue of why the land is so cursed.

Ladies and Sirs, this most troubleing information is circling around the city and has just now reached my ears. *she writes about the rumour*

[Rumours Around Baldur's Gate]

There have been a couple of attacks on the Temple of Tyr for unknown reasons and they've been handled without any casualties. It is rumoured the attackers were after a relic.

Just the other day as Lady Svala and I headed North up through the High Moor to dipatch the evil Vampire Elves, I was telling her that my regular patrols, through the city of Baldur's Gate and the Temples, that all was well and unremarkable. I beg your pardons for leaving my post as this must have happened when I left the city proper to patrol with Lady Svala only briefly. I shall attone to the temple of Tyr and speak to the High Priest or any other eye witnesses to see if I can find out any further information.

Yesterday Sir Uriel, Lady Svala and I were escorting our newest potential squires Miss Mithradel and Miss Sam accross the bridge south of Baldur's Gate to help them procure some Ore for the mining company as well as other odd jobs. We stopped to protect ourselves and cast protections on the others to make the journey through the bandit and bear infested area. On the road by the Hilltop Ruines out of nowhere a Giant Skeleton came running down the hill attacking us all, there were many casualties, but several passers by stopped to help heal the wounded and unconcious. Sir Gideon of the Radiant Heart was there as well as Teris... Teris i noticed was there first and I asked him what happened.. he said they're comming from the strange light up there.. he pointed to the ruines on the hilltop. Sir Gideon then said he believes this is because of the late Sir Uther, a Knight who died in service to his god many years ago. He said his first dealing with him was in the fields of the dead. More undead and apparitions poured from the ruines down the hill at us on the road.. after finally sending them to their final rest we had a moment to prepare. We cast protections on as many of the group of brave adventurers that we could and headed up to where the strange lights were comming from at the door of the ruines.

A voice came from the doorway saying he wanted his paper back so he could find eternal rest. It was indeed Sir Uther's Spirit. Sir Gideon said he had his paper.. a map of sorts of the underground of that area. Not knowing why he wanted this paper or what consequences would arrise from giving it to him, after a short discussion we all agreed to proceed into the ruines. We all worked well as a team in vanquishing the evil within. We came upon Sir Uther's sarcophagus and he appeared proclaiming all of Us were undead and we must be killed. We calmly and collectively tried to reason with him, explaining he was the one who was dead but to no avail. He attacked again and we prevailed. To be certain he had been sent to his final eternal rest one of the kind adventurers offered some Holy water from thier pack and poured it on his sarcophagus and surrounding area. It turned to dust before our eyes and all was silent. We hope he has finally found peace.

I felt that there was an overriding evil force that was perhaps disturbing Sir Uther's rest and channeling itself into the crypt thereby causing powerful undead to rise. It is my hope that the apparition that manifested after Sir Uther was laid to rest was the source of this disruption, as it was put down by the capable assembly of good folk who ventured into the crypt. It is certainly possible that this evil being/force was only temporarily vanquished and forced to retreat and marshal its forces. I will maintain patrols in the area and I advise the we all keep our wits about us.

Friendly Arm Inn- I found Sir El’Aust and Lady Tara here speaking to a miss Kara Addams and Master Varden Stonehold, a very nice and helpful elf maiden miss who I did not get her name I believe. Durring the conversation miss Addams spoke of an island very similar to our own. It was then that I asked her if she was the same Kara Addams who was dishonorably discharged from the Order. She claimed not to be, though the way she spoke was very much like the Lady of the same name back on the Island where we came from. But, I shall accept her word until proven otherwise by her actions. I believe it is something to note as I have put it in my journal. After I stayed and spoke with Sir El’Aust and another elf maiden, miss Amarven who spoke of the incident with the lich and the staves. I told her I have been patrolling the area of the Fields of the Death and the Crypt battling a lich. Perhaps the very same one, I am not sure. She spoke of a book. I am glad however that someone has come to me seeking the aid of a Morninglord, one adept at defeating undead, demons and devils. I will head up north back to the fields and have asked Sir El’Aust to accompany me so try to find out what we can.

"First Trial for squire Clara Sulliman"

Greetings Sirs and Ladies,
Today I was traveling down to the Troll Claws area to complete a task for the Tanner of Candle Keep and met up with Lady Svala, we then noticed Master Tyn had fallen to the vile creatures and healed him. Once he was well rested he joined us in our task. We cleared as many of the evil beasts as we could then began our journey home. On the path we met up with Squire Clara Sulliman who then joined us in dispatching them and makeing the roads safe for travelers. We spoke about her squireship and I offered to be her Mentor if that is alright? I gave her the first task to lead us through the winding hills and safely back to the farmlands which she did with ease and grace. Her power given to her by Lathander as well as her training from growing up on a farm, was intense. I shall travel with her again soon and give her the next trial for Knighthood.
