Habits/Hobbies:
Durin has very odd habits. He is delusional and lapses easily between what he sees and what he thinks he sees. He is continually accompanied by his two friends, Karl and Eugene. Karl is a unicorn. Eugene is less clearly understood, but is feminine. Durin also constantly hears voices from the sky and can often be seen shouting up at the sky for them to "Shaddup!" and various other things. He enjoys being underground as there he cannot hear the voices from the sky.

Durin's primary hobby is collecting varous odd body parts of the creatures he kills and preparing them for consumption is equally odd and disturbing ways. Currently, boiled kobold's feet and wyvern bacon are his favored delicacies. He also is the only known dwarf other than Durgan Ironfaar who will willingly drink Durgans "Marlin Stout".

Background:
Durin was a mischevious child, getting into lots of trouble by stealing things in his youth. This led to an accident in the mines when he was an adolescent. He saw several of his young friends killed by falling debris and he blamed himself for the accident. His delusions and odd behavior started shortly thereafter. Despite is bizarre behavior, he is rather bright and friendly. Despite this, he has difficulty being taken seriously due to his visual and auditory hallucinations.

After the fall of the clanhold, Durin wandered away and joined a travelling circus. He acted as the bodyguard for the bearded lady and the two of them often enjoyed drinking contests and became close friends. Durin also befriended several of the gnomish acrobats in the troupe and learned to speak their language. After the troop disbanded, Durin returned to the sword coast to find his kin and discover the source of the rumors of a new clanhold.

Goals:
Durin is a wanderer at this point. He seeks to join Kraak Helzak and aid in the creation of the new clanhold. He also is searching for a way to make up for the mine collapse that killed his friends as he feels responsible for it.

Possible Plot-Hook Ideas and Misc Facts:

-Durin's invisible "friends" often follow him, but sometimes he follows them, which can lead him into unusual and sometimes dangerous situations.

-Durin's experiences with the circus and the way he has been treated due to his mental instability have made him more accepting and kinder than the average dwarf and he is more likely to accept those of other races, with the exception of orcs. See below.

-Durin's cousin Pudd Ironfaar was killed by orcs, so he hates orcs and half orcs.
