Considering I feel like i am sort of accused of draconic things with Hoihe and the reincarnate thing with Calinde...
First of all, Hoihe himself understands that only his blood is draconic but he strives to make his entire being one. He has draconic traits as per his character sheet. (sorcerer levels, Dragon warrior levels. Dragon warrior grants feat Dragon Disciple which is used to explain some of the traits. Dragon breath is natural, Strength levels are influenced by charisma and vice versa.)
A few character sheet explanation.
His eye colour: simply failed ritual's after effects. Nothing special
Dragon breath: Feat: Dragon breath
Tough skin that is palish: Armour skin influenced by Dragon Disciple (silver).
Claws & fangs : Dragon warrior feat: Dragon Disciple (silver)
A bit too tall for an illuskan man: High strength & Constitution influenced by charisma and dragon warrior feat: dragon disciple (silver).
Fluent draconic, altered vocal chords: Dragon Warrior (ritual to take on draconic traits.) + charisma (easy to overhear).
"My character is really a human male, trapped in the body of an elven female!"
Second, Calinde is being played as per her character sheet. She's a female elf in all approaches possible. As for being trapped, please refer to
Reincarnate. I've thrown her idea up to the DMs and nobody objected. Lyrewyn awarded the experience. She has a wild past but it's nothing out-of-the-box, merely using a spell to give her an extra quirk. (It allowed a quite interesting character development.) It's completely Lore-friendly and a common occurrence actually in some PnP parties where the characters are too low level to cast Raise Dead but have a druid at hand.
Just for reference, when i say female elf in all approaches possible, I mean it by body (Reincarnate), soul (has been ensured by an elven priestess of the seldarine) & mind (character development and wisdom).
She has the common elven starting stats as well, even the mind. It did take me a while to find a reasoning to the lower intelligence but eventually came up with one. All in all, people don't mind her and she no longer tosses her story around. there was one part in her character development when she did, but oaths turned her other way around.
Hope that clears it up. I personally always poke the DMs when I have a bit wilder than average idea for extra approval, much to their annoyance I presume

. I personally am a fan of the book Savage Species, but I am not sure an idea stemming from that book would be approved. (It involves an example of an ogre turning into an elf. I presume our low charisma elves all come from this tree

).
As for some of Hoihe's ramblings of being actually a dragon... It's purely his way of thinking... for now. It's within one of his "unachievable" goals that he will become a true silver dragon. Unachievable because I know that him achieving it will require me to retire him.
In anycase.. with me proving Calinde and Hoihe are their character sheets entirely, Calinde being 100% what it says on the tin and Hoihe having a few loose interpretations, may I hear opinions on the both of them?
One thing I believe to be true about me is, I narrate a lot. Or as Galadriel would say, I narrate things that are unnecessary. I must say the incentive to gain RP XP is one of the reasons I narrate that much and the second is.. I don't like *cricket* moments. While ICly I like them, I prefer the RP to roll, roll and roll if by filler emotes.
Whenever I can, I always do my best to keep the RP rolling, if by doing small timeskips that I petition a DM for. (Such as with Calinde & Avereon being pissed at each and skipping a few months "mentally" to resume their RP instead of actually waiting the time out). One might say I am impatient, I just don't like *cricket, cricket, cricket.* moments.
I do however note, that if I know that the player I RP with is a slow-typer, I will avoid doing filler emotes.
Feel free to send me a tell OOC to slow down with my emoting if you are a bit slower on the typing side. I will gladly do so. I can enjoy slow-paced RP as much as fast paced, especially if I really enjoy RPing with someone. (in the case of the two players whose name start with Dr.)
I also admit to not being a stranger to discussing IC happens OOC, especially if they are a plotline I plan to RP out. So far, all the time I took the time to discuss things OOC with other players (such as with the Elestars are at it again storyline during the end of this summer), everyone was satisfied with the outcome and it wasn't a light RP type. I do this because I consider people OOCly having fun above all else and such I rather find out another's feelings OOC about drastic changes over risking tell wars later.
