UD quests
Hey, I'm currently working on making some new UD quests and was wondering what you good people thought about me maybe changing some of the current wording in the conversation files involving NPC quest givers to be more...Drowy. Just changing the wording for drow NPCs from "I" to "Usstan" , "you" to "dos" ect.... would this help some for better immersion or a waste of time? Changing it wouldnt be difficult as there arent many as is anyway.

Re: UD quests
I don't know about the Underdark, but most people on the surface just quickly go through the quest dialogue without even reading much. Especially since they've read them over and over before.

Re: UD quests
As an underdark player id say go ahead and add a few drow words, change the entire sentences to drow and Houston may have a problem though.
Immersion is nice, even if it is breezed by after having been read the first 100 times.

Re: UD quests
Yeah, it's usually breezed through, but I think it would be nice to have. Especially change the Basilisk egg quest. I STILL press the wrong answers and get teleported to the top if the spire...

Re: UD quests
Perhaps helping in an interrogation style quest? Would make use of the conversation skills mostly.

Re: UD quests
Maybe if we can submit one to start with.
I can probably give it the quick once over and test it.
That way if there are any kinks or deviations from the quest framework we can get them worked out up front.

Re: UD quests
Okay. I see why UD lacks quests. In order to make them more drow-like the conversations tend to be 3-4 times longer. I'm revamping current quest to include conversion dialog for both drow and non-drow of less than average and above average INT. Then in this certain quest there has to be dialog different for yathrin as well. Sheesh. Its coming together...
