Cyrus sits down after resting and begins to write a summation of his patrol the previous evening.

"The evening started quite enough, conversations around the campfire out said FAI with Sir Uriel and the locals.

Then a bunch of Willow-the-Wisps appeared and lead us over to the fishing pond, just South of FAI. A group of us went there to discover an odd mage who kept counting everything, and two carrion crawlers. One of the group quickly slew the mage and the crawlers, this caused a portal to open.

Sir Uriel and myself entered the portal as it was the right thing to do, only one other person followed, and that was a bit later.

We were transported to a strange building with more Willow-the-wisps which attacked, and then we were beset by a Mind Flayer and blood red willow-the-wisps.

The battle was quick and both Sir Uriel and I were knocked unconcious. We were told by those who did not go through the portal that our bodies were dumped back on our side by a mind flayer.

Later we heard from the Fist that this is becomeing a common occurance for locals to be lured away by willow-the-wisps...only to return later having bad nightmares. Sir Uriel and I will have to be warey of signs we may have been effected thusly.

After this incident we met up with another fellow, a friend of the commanders (Hooser-Daddy's character can't remember name) and patroled the Cloakwood to the Haunted house and back. It was fairly quiet, and since Sir Ureil had to leave before we reached the house, we only clearned the first two levels of evil. We dared not try to face Chaos.

We then returned to FAI, and I retired after a long evening.

Cyrus returns from his patrols....his usually clean robes, darkened with blood, sweat and dirt from the road. Very clean tears and slashes are visable, grouped in 4s and 5s like claw marks.

He sits at his desk in the library, wiping his brow, and pulls out a pouch and opens it.....there is a fine ash like substance in the bag with a scattering of teeth laying on the surface....Cyrus muses to himself..

"Commander and the Generals are going to be very upset with me....but it was worth it." he quickly pens a note to Master Hoihe in CandleKeep, and sends it by a messanger to the Library there.

He then head upstairs to the hotbaths to recouperate from the nights adventures.

"3. The bite of the undead that gives damnation to the living must be ground to dust, and sprinkled in the circle by the third person in the circle. - This has to be a vampire from the house in cloakwood
-Either this, or a ghoul.

It says it must be ground to dust, most likely during the ritual. We might need to get another set of teeth should your current already ground set doesn't work."

*Lady Angelina, her robes saturated with the blood of those she had slain and her own, can be seen being carried South back to the Keep by a man named Brynolf, aided by a lady elf named Sylene and an unknown wizard. He sets her down at the doorstep and the guards help her inside.. she makes it into the infimary with her familiar Bella following closely behind. As Sister Mary Katherine sees her she collapses into her arms.* " I have failed ! I can't find the vile beast " *she says over and over again in her delerious state from the immense loss of blood. Sister Mary Katherine manages to calm her down and heal her wounds insisting she stay in bed and recover.*

1. The blood of those that may renue their life, regrow their arms and yet fear fire. It must be from magical means and of the highest kind. A chief or magician wreeking evil upon the land must be slain so that good may come and that with its last lifes blood recooperation maye be gained. Use this blood to paint the rune upon the ground and have those who are to combine their might stand inside. - I know not of any trolls with magic, but I have not traveled to the north in a while, I hear there are distrubing creatures in the moors there.....maybe there is a troll magus there.
- Indeed, there are "Spirit Trolls" up in the High Moors, they are the offspring of "Invisible Stalkers" and "Trolls". Invisible stalkers are like shadows for the purposes of fighting them. There are a lot of powerful necromancers and other mages amognst their rank. I think a Necromancer will do.

The eyes were everywhere hidden in the darkness in the room, yet Uriel knew they were there, watching, ever watching. The tentacles had backed him into a corner. They were coming at his again, his blade of his ancestors long gone he swings his fists with everything he has...

Uriel swings violently in his sleep, rolling over and falling off the bed, smashing his head on the stand next to his bed. It takes a few moments as the blood begins to pool on the floor before he pushes himself up to his feet. He wearily makes his way down to the infirmary for bandages.

Uriel frowns deeply as he enters, blood still dripping down his face. He listens to the reports as he uses a towel to stop the bleeding.

''This is madness'' Uriel states flatly. ''I want to help Haeman as much as any of you, I've assigned three of our Knights to him and check in myself whenever I can. Yet something about this does not seem right. I'm ordering a halt to this until we can better understand this ritual, where it comes from and it will not promote evil ends. Help those who need help, given that the help does not promote evil ends.'' Uriel quotes the code. ''I have never experienced a goodly ritual utilizing hellfire at the Halls of Everlasting Justice back in Sundabar. Until we determine integrity of this ritual, it's authenticity and legitamacy, these orders will stand. We will have to find another way. '' Uriel finishes, reapplying his towel as blood drips into his eyes.

After Uriel has his wounds dressed, he puts the Orders on the board for all to see.

Cyrus, after resting for a very long time in the baths, heads down to get some food from the commisary and pauses to read the bulliten board.

Frowning, Cyrus shakes his head, but cannot fault Sir Uriel's logic after having expressed similar concerns.

"Still think the good outweighs the bad......" Mumbling as he walks off.

Since Hoihe is not a member of the Silver Rose, it is very likely he will continue gathering the reagents.

*an elven scout arrives at the doors of the Silver Rose Keep and lets the guards know he has a message for Dame Angelina Northstar from Councilor Sywyn Ma'fer of Doron Amar. Upon being introduced to her, he bows slightly and pulls a sealed packet from inside his armor and offers it to her*

*Lady Angelina bow's deeply to him, still looking a bit weak from her treck up north, she accepts the sealed packet and tells him she will give this to Commander Elvina at once. She then thanks him for comming and wishes him safe travles as she returns inside the Keep.*

*Haeman reads the order and frowns "The only thing evil needs to succeed is for good people to do nothing" he thinks to himself. He writes a brief response:*

The rite is not evil, but a combining spell. I would never ask or keep such a thing if I beleive it to be evil. I hope that your faith in me has not waivered. I can not ask more then you have done and shall not. I will seek out what I can.

*Coughing to himself he nods knowing that he is on his own, that it is too dangerous for his friends and then visits Angelina in the infirmary kissing her sweetly on the head. He whispers to her:* "The danger to you all is too great, I will do it." *He then heads out seeking Hoihe.*
