Just wondering: what would happen if by the end of each month, say the beginning of the last week in each month, if the server fees are short by X amount, Lunadministrator could post that amount here?

I, for one, can always come up with a few more dollars.

When we pay for our web site, we go into the RED for a while because we pay for 1 year at a time.
Staff covers this until we get our of the RED.

The server is billed monthly straight from paypal.
If there are no funds, I imagine the host will just unplug the server.

GENERAL UPDATE

We finally got around to looking at paypal.
It hasn't been checked in a while.
We have received a large number of donations over the past month or two.

So a big thanks from our staff and community!

The donations over the early summer period where not covering costs, so what has come in recently has really helped out.


There are a few people who donated $50 dollars that we cannot track down.
If you happened to donate that much and we have not contacted you and/or you don't have a forum title change, please send a message to the administrator account.

HowTo: Donating to the BGTSCC Server without having a Paypal account or personal Credit Card.

Paypal is easiest if you already have a Paypal account. However, many don't...and, you don't need one to utilize PayPal to donate to the BGTSCC server.

A solution is to purchase what is called a "Pre-Paid Debit Card" or "Pre-Paid Credit Card" that has a MasterCard, VISA, American Express, or Discover logo on it. These can be purchased at almost every grocery or department store. It looks exactly like a credit card or ATM card, but it has a finite amount of money on it, often an amount you place on it/pay for it, at the store's counter.

A person can load up on the card, say to $50, and then use the card's number on the PayPal website.

Do do that, click on the Donate graphic at the top of the BGTSCC1.com web site. You'll surf over the the Paypal Billing page. At the bottom of that page, you'll see a question "Don't have a PayPal account?" From there, you can click a "continue" link that will take you to a new screen and form where you type in your Pre-Paid cards info, as well as your preferred donation amount. Obviously, your donation amount cannot be greater than the money that is currently on your Pre-Paid card.

Using the PayPal system makes collecting donations that much easier for Luna, who then, by all accounts, can spend more time making BGTSCC better! :-)

New to the sever been playing for the past 2 days really love it and Just wana donate some money after reading that we might have a new sever :) I'm a student so I can't donate much but I hope 10.00 helps monthly peace
