Several adventurers have been investigating odd happenings involving catacombs and tombs in and around Baldur's Gate. Several groups found themselves led to a tomb by different forces, inside they found it undead and construct guardians... and other things they have yet to make sense of.

Ripple, Part 4

Fenrir continues to seek answers regarding the strange properties of the blade he found. He has been seeking lore, as well as powerful casters able to make survival in the water plane possible.

Gorion had informed him that another weakening of the 'veil' between worlds had been detected near the elven settlement Doron Amar. As before, the sword opened a portal to the elemental plane of water. better prepared this time, the party was able to venture away from the air pocket which formed where the plane's merged.

They encountered more hostile elementals inside... then came upon what appeared to be a market of sorts. *edit: Merfolk. They had discovered a marid civilization, and were taken to speak to the queen. She was able to identify them as plane walkers, and decreed they must be of great power. The queen had tasked them to investigate and quell a threat which threatens her people, or be taken for invaders and imprisoned. The party was allowed to return to their world once they agreed (((sorry to have rushed the end of this in game))).

En Dharasha: Finding a Home, Pt. 4.

The saw the smoke as they approached their camp at Boresky. Bodies litter the encampment inside. The elves of en Dharasah decided to search for survivors. On dragon wings they scoured the area. A few who had escaped the carnage were gathered.

The assault came from the South East, with many speculations as to what force was behind it. The elves gathered their wounded, and buried their dead (or whatever elves do), and departed Northwest.

They traveled through the High Moor, a harsh and dangerous terrain, and finally reached the edge of the Mistry forest. Inside they stopped for a reprieve. It was not long, as they were quickly fell upon by wood elves. While not openly hostile, they did not embrace the newcomers, even though they had traveled with those from the forest. They warned their cousins not to abuse the forest, and not to bring the troubles which follow in their wake to its edge. Before the elves could parley, the wood elves vanished into the trees as suddenly as they had appeared.

Ripple, Part 5

The odd blade recovered by the Dwarf Fenrir started humming and being drawn to the east as if through a magnetic pulse.

The Druidic Ritual in the Woods of Sharp Teeth weakening the veil drew the blade.

Fenrir and a few knights found one such place, and opened a portal with Ripple. The dwarf, bound by his quest, ventured in. Many others left him to his trials alone, though a few followed.

Once inside, the Marid's sensed his disturbance. They came to meet him and his allies, ushering them forth to confront the darkness in the depths.

En Dharasha, Finding a Home, Pt. 6

Laisren lay delirious from his ailment in the makeshift camp at the edge of the Misty Forest. His allies pace about.

Wood elf rangers, accompanied by a druid, approach the camp. Ropes drop from the trees and a hammock is assembled. Laisren is placed into it and it is pulled up into the trees. The wood elves promise to keep him alive for as long as possible as his people seek a cure.

Isen the Vampire Hunter, Part 13

Isen stirs slightly, still in a coma recovering in Doron Amar.

Many nobles head for a late evening gala at the White mask Theater.

Several nobles of the Palace District are all a flutter about a the latest performance at the White Mask Theater. Some complain they got all-dressed up only to be ushered out the back door by now-fugitive Thedran Rock and "that pretty foreign girl" Valqis, assistant of Director Herran. Shortly afterward, singing was heard from the Threater. Seconds later the theater shuddered with a loud boom then smoke billowed out of the windows and shattered front door. Minutes later, about a dozen persons wearing heavy armor with weapons drawn are seen trotting through the city streets into the Docks District. Not long afterward, Herran and Valqis follow, though both are only wearing their finest "showtime" clothes; she was carrying a big axe. Two contingents of Flaming Fist soon follow marching double-time through the city streets. One squad goes to the Theater and the other squad goes into the Lord's Alliance building in the Docks District.

Perhaps an hour later, the now-tattered armed mob is escorted by the Fist into the Palace, then later to the Fist Compound. Meanwhile, back at the theater, the smoke stops and the Fist secure the area.

The next morning, Herran and Valqis are seen again outside the theater, both wearing the same though now tattered cloths. Custodian Karl is with them mounting a sign on the broken door frame indicating the theater is "Closed for repairs." Curious persons may or may not notice all of the auditorium windows are now open. Inside, the tapestries and benches are either charred or gone. Fortunately, the theater structure appears to be in-tact.

Heralds report over the following days:

Rumor is that a prominent Noble and Merchant was burned to a crisp by adventurers in the White Mask Theater. Director Herran Hymn is under increasing scrutiny by the authorities.


The Lords Alliance Building in the harbor district is closed down for several days under suspicious circumstances. The stated reason is: sudden renovations. Rumors persist that there was a massacre inside. The Flaming Fist are extremely tight lipped about the matter.

The Duke's of Baldur's Gate decree that Former former Flaming Fist and member of Norton's Bastards Thedran Rock is responsible for the death of a prominent Tethyran Noble and Merchant who had been residing in Baldur's Gate to escape the troubles in his homeland. Thedran has been sentenced to Death by Hanging.

Several may have seen several OSR members, John Roland, Arkaine HalfOrken, and Thedran Rock escorted to the Duchal palace. Later, they can be seen taken to prison. John Roland sporting a nasty gash on his cheek.

Heralds spread word that Thedran Rock is being sought by the Flaming Fists for evading justice. A 10,000 gold reward has been offered for his apprehension.


Flaming Fist Sr. Commander and personal friend of Duke Eltan known only as Scar is seen drilling troops while sporting a rather prominent shiner. The troops displayed the utmost discipline during the exercise, and not a one would so much as dared to look him in the eye.
