But if you deleted all the warlock characters on the server and locked the class, you would start seeing it in the above. Because those players would require a character to play (provided they wouldn't leave the server at that point, but for the sake of this discussion, we assume they won't). Lore within players is learnt in general with a bit of specialties. Good RP'ers will study who they play before they get engaged in it. Poor won't. No matter the class they choose, the good ones will remain good, and poor ones will remain poor. And you will see that RPing with some will still remain a struggle, despite them being fighters now.
What I'm trying to say here, is that there is a bigger picture than a class behind your struggles.
Fighters require almost no lore to RP. You make a fighter anyway you want, you give him whatever gear/feats you want based on his/her made up quirks and go. Same goes for a lot of vanilla classes like a plain sorc/wiz/rogue/barbarian/etc. A lot of the time, prestige classes you pick are in-line with your character concept. Also, a lot of the time, the multiclassing gets ridiculous and functions solely for mechanics, lore be damned. While it's common for most classes, it's more obvious for classes that require lots of lore like warlock/pally/cleric/druid.
So long as the servers difficulty is geared towards making it a challenge for powerbuilds, lore will take a second seat to picking classes for mechanics. This is not saying the server is wrong for doing this

. It's just a fact that people will choose an idea, make a powerbuild, then try to RP around it.
How does Warlock fit around that? It's a waste to make it an application class. There are tons of IG solutions, just few pretty ones for the warlocks in question.
