Background:

War is hell. D'Arcy has been there and back again. Born with a well-defined sense of right and wrong, his time in the military blurred the lines of good and bad, the morality of his allies
juxtaposed with the ruthlessness of his enemies was not the clear distinction he expected. His experiences left him jaded and scarred. D'arcy became twisted in his world view, seeing the carnage and distruction wrought from a lack of order. His life became meaningless, trudging through on the precipice of life and death. He did not care for his equipment, choosing an orc blade, notched and rusted as opposed to the polished steel of the men arround him. It was then he learned the fate of his family; slain in a raid while he was away. In anger fueled by agony, he became a soulless killer. Life was forfeit. When he found himself again, he was alone, without remorse, but certainly not without anger. His mind fell upon a singular purpose; vengeance.

Goals:
Seek retribution from those who wronged him, stole his innocence, his understanding of the world, his family and his life.
Enforce his understanding of order.

Possible Plot-Hook Ideas and Misc Facts:

D'arcy does not suffer fools, nor does he help others for the sake of the greater good (evil character). He does what he must, believes in a larger order, and has a rigid, militaristic approach. He ultimately relishes the suffering of his enemies, and believes strongly in punishment.
