Background: Mezoar was a young boy in a nomadic tribe in Chult. Many in his island died to the dangers of the island. Death was frequent company in his tribe. One day, most of his village was kidnapped and sold to slavery, including his siblings and mother. Three years after the incident a few Helmites set up a church a few kilometers away from his village in the middle of the dense jungle. Mezoar saw the Helmites free slaves from captivity and provided protection for no cost to the remainder of his village. He became a knight of Helm in his gratitude.
Goals: One day, hopefully, find his lost sister, brother and mother.
Possible Plot-Hook Ideas and Misc Facts: He is at the whim of the weak as he pursues his duty to serve Helm. Sometimes the oppressed and impoverished take advantage of the unknowing Chultan. He has been led to his own ambush several times as a result. He has a wisdom score of 8; he is not very "sharp" when it comes to noticing things.
