Black Sash Open Event - 1a: We are the masters of shadows

You hear some commotion happening in the dark weavings bazaar. Officers of Charnag Maelthra rush towards where the notice board is being placed, where they fight a zombie wielding a hammer and a bunch of nails. The zombie doesn't seem to be too much bothered about being stabbed and ripped to pieces and after a short fight, the undead becomes very much dead like a doornail he has in his hand.

- He must have come from the sewers - says one of the guards pointing at the open crate. The crowd slowly disperses as the zombie gets taken for examination and a few guards get sent to a place no sane person would like to go to - to search for clues in the sewers. Meanwhile a few bystanders notice a parchment the zombie stuck to the board. It has a piece of a black cloth, stuck to it with a wax seal. The parchment reads:

Citizens of Sshamath!

The time of trials is upon us! Slave races have been left out of labour and have grown arrogant to a degree they have no remorse to attack our citizens on sight!

We are the Black Sash of Sshamath, assassins and masters of the Underdark's shadows, but our business concerns all of you. Young or venerable, warrior or wizard, male or female, drow or otherwise it matters not. Meet us at Varalla's Passage and put your skills to a test, bringing order to the tunnels and benefit to the city.

A soldier Baendar wanders by the Dark Weavings Bazaar. He observes several citizens reading a parchment nailed to a board. The abnormaly large Drow walks behind the crowd. He is easily able to peer over the heads of the other Drow gathered around to read the message. He too reads the message

"A test?" Valan thought a moment to himself. "This could be a chance to prove myself to the elders and live up to the potential they have for usstan."

Nameia wanders over to the board lazily to see what the fuss was about. Upon reading it she shrugs slightly and yawns.

Guess its something to do. Wonder if it will be any fun.

She then meanders off, staring up at the sparkly lights above her.
