Practiced Spellcaster
Does the practiced spellcaster feat still provide +4 CL even if you have a full CL progression prestige class? If it does, is it against the rules to use it in such a way?

It is against the rules to use it in such a way, yes. You must have at least one level of missing spellcasting progression to be permitted to have the feat on this server, which allows you to still achieve +3 CL from the feat.

Re: Practiced Spellcaster
yeah why bother with archmage then.. can get +3 CL sooo easily.. kind of sucks.
it should be that you HAVE to take all 4 levels. otherwise its an incrediably powerful feat, even if you take 3 levels of somehting else.

CL boosts from archmage, bloodmagus, and red wizard all stack Azmodeth.
Red Wizard is an application class so it might be moot to put it in the list..
