Yes, the main building is Zhentarim only. You will never see its interior, unless we post screenshots or capture you alive and bring you in for eternal suffering.

Now the question is, should the debased rivvil lawful stinkers be allowed to keep Varalla's old playground?
Words were spoken, will they be met?

Thanks for the compliment and all the others as well. :)

AFAIK the main outdoor courtyard area will be open to the public (although with strict DM monitoring and certain peramiters in place (ie a large npc garrison parrallel to the idea of a strong fist npc presence protecting BG or say the orphanage)) to prevent the "righteous evil purging zealots" from griefing the area. As far as extra "guild exclusive" area, it is a standard single floor added to the current 2 guild hall floors with "x" # of tiles that is nothing alarming in size. I'm not sure of gold exchange as that's between the guild and the DMs.

I believe there was also talk of the keep being housed to other evil factions as well affiliated to the zhentarim, there are actually several towers separate from the main keep that would be perfect for this. But this is of course just talk and it's up to the DMs to decide how the overall area will function once IG.

This of course has just been little tidbits I picked up here and there and of course things could be completely different depending on the descisions of the DM staff. Some things are just best left secret for surprise however and I may have already said too much.. :?

You should all thank me for saying "no" on the Staff's question whether to keep the whole fortress sealed off from the public or not. *waits for people to kneel in front of his Holy Xan-ness and praise his name for all eternity*

The idea is to have Darkhold be like Candlekeep. But instead of a Mekka of Knowledge, you will get a Mekka of Unfathomable Evil, including shops and temples (of the Dead Three) for everyone to visit. (Except paladins and the like, nananananana)

My idea was to give other guilds affiliated with the Zhentarim an option to have either a guildhall or a chapterhouse (Embassy) within Darkhold, to help make the area a focal hub in the Northern Expansion, similar to FAI, and enhance the RP for all involved. (again, except paladins, hahahahaha)

Whether the staff shares my vision or not remains to be seen, as the area isn't in yet. (WHEN?!?!?!?!)

The Northern Expansion project is a work in progress, and is being pushed out by multiple builders and DMs. Numerous areas and plots have already been released for it (the first major one was Roaringshore).

This area in particular has IAmDeathComeForThee as its lead designer and builder. Death is currently working on some important real life things, last I spoke with him, but I am sure he will get back around to this ASAP.

So far as I know, we do not have a projected release time frame yet, though I'd imagine sometime this spring.
