Ahoy!
I've been wondering, what In-character cost does losing experience on a spell like Wish, Miracle or few other spells mean?
Is it aging?
Is it amnesia of random stuff?
I've been curious and I wish to see how the various DMs handle it!
What does spending experience on a spell mean on BGTSCC?

For life to be worth living, afterlife must retain individuality, personal identity and memories without fail - https://www.sageadvice.eu/do-elves-reta ... afterlife/
A character belongs only to their player, and only them. And only the player may decide what happens.

It rarely ever comes up. When it does, it's normally determined on a case-by-case basis, if it is allowed at all.
There's currently no standard response. However, this would require a team decision, as opposed to an individual DM's judgement call.

But if I'm ICly putting together a ritual which would cost XP, how demanding would it seem IC?
(Basically how serious one's response would be to someone suggesting a wish.. like
"What?! I don't want to live shorter! We can try something else.." when discussing certain troubles.

It depends on the DM overseeing the ritual, as Maecius said.
