more tiefling head models?

Unread post by Blame The Rogue »

half elf head models would be a perfect starting point, due to their look and pointy ears

would just need to add horns

possible?

we have anyone on staff that can do it?

too much work?

others would like to see this too?

A definite +1 from me, as well! It's been on my wishlist for the past four or so years. The ones for half-elves sound good as a start, and I wouldn't personally mind it if some of them didn't have horns, actually. Maybe some other shady-looking traits! :)

Edit: Oh, the horns are attached to the hairstyle and not the head itself, if I remember correctly, so new heads plus some new hairstyles would be really sweet.

Tieflings have any of a number of features that reference (directly or indirectly) their fiendish lineage. These include, but are not limited to, horns located on their heads, pointed sharp teeth, extra fingers, cloven hooves in place of feet, tails, and unusually colored eyes.
yes, they don't have to have horns, but I would definitely like some of the new models to have them if someone on staff can do this

interesting. so half elf heads could be added to tieflings? and the tiefling hair models include the horns so the horns/hairstyles will be applied to the half elf heads if they are within the tiefling head options/choices?

We need some more fiendish looking tieflings is what we need. A model or two with larger, obvious horns, instead of these little nubbins that we have now.

I believe the large large horns are a 4.0 thing

4.0 is large horns, but large horns are not only 4.0. In 3.n, tieflings can have all sorts of characteristics. Big horns, small horns, hooves, tails, pointy teeth, weird eyes, red skin, blue skin, casting no shadow, smelling like brimstone, and many more variations. As they said in another thread, tieflings are like snowflakes - no two are the same.

Quite true from Those who Eat. Tieflings are extremely varied, depending on how much of their bloodline shows through. Although, I think a more accurate title to the topic should be "more heads for races other than humans" considering the overall lack of heads for- pretty much any other race. xD

I do agree with this topic, otherwise, thus far, though.

I prefer the size of the horns currently in game for tieflings myself

we can all agree though that more variety would be nice, for tieflings, and other races as well

edit: tiefling just stands out cuz there are only 5 total head options

I like where this is going

also, added benefit of doing this.....people will no longer be able to consciously or subconsciously metagame what race you are by the head model you have. you know we all hate that

Just remembered this old topic:

There are some links and ideas there that might be of use, still. :)
