Personality Profile: Quiet sometimes but never brooding Koryeneer tends to be somewhat chaotic in his approach to life. He protects the weak and meek, but also loves a good flagon of ale and the smoke of his pipe. Tending to not like the lawful side of things Koryeneer prefers to slay true evil rather than waste time on petty underlings running around the Coast. As he is chaotic to Koryeneer TRUE EVIL would be defined in a LAWFUL sense. He believes the LAW only exists to enslave the people and as such whether from defined GOOD or defined BAD gods he sees the LAW as Evil. Though he has been known to support taking individuals to the proper authorities should they choose a peaceful resolution to the conflict. This is mainly due to sentiment for those individuals. He does so to save their lives from vigilante justice. Thus adding to the chaotic nature. Uses what he hates to see his own ends at times. This will eat at him though and eventually erode at his soul as well as the need to be ever watchful for death flying.
Over the years he has changed as he has grown from his youth of 18. Now 21 he has adopted Hoar as his patron god and perhaps even sees the need for lawful intentions. His heart seems to be in the right place and he does much good in his endeavors to protect the meek with might. He now understands that not all law is evil. Nor is all evil intentioned but it happens and must be atoned for.

Background:Koryeneer Sentinel grew up near the Never mountains in the city of Everlund. Everlund is home to some 12,000 people. Koryeneer's mother was a Mage of the north who subsequently sought refuge in Everlund where she met Koryeneer's father a wealthy mercenary in the city. Koryeneer's father was tough to live with at times demanding the ultimate martial prowess of spear and shield from his son. Everyday was spent in training, teaching the young boy to wield the heaviest of shields while thrusting with long reach spear. The evenings were spent in books while his mother sang songs from her homeland far to the north past the spine of the world. Koryeneer's mother never told him or his father why she had fled from her homeland and the fear he saw in her eyes never let him press for further knowledge of it either.
One morning on Koryeneer's 18th birthday he could feel an unusually hot wind coming through his window, before he could fully wake his mother came rushing in the same fear he once saw in her eyes when speaking of home and coming to Everlund was now plain as day to him! Why else would a Frost mage of the north be so scared and run so far from home unless she had unwittingly challenged Rith Ua Voarex!
Many knew of the old red wyrm and many more over the years have been slain in the calamity known as Rith Ua the Merciless. Sensing his mother's fear Koryeneer quickly grabs his spear and shield ready to do battle as he has been taught his whole life only to be told run my son, run far for the dragon will seek revenge on me and my kin till we are all dead! Barely able to believe his ears he silently listens as his mother tells him how she had challenged the wyrm with her first love another great mage only to fail, she alone was saved by a teleport spell uttered by her loves dying breath. This cheating of Rith Ua angered the great wyrm to no end and he swore to kill all of her kin.
Rushed out of his home before the great wyrm could get there Koryeneer never looked back as he heard the cries and felt the searing heat on his back as he ran........
Goals: Survive, Rebuild his wealth lost when his home was burned, Further the cause of his new family whatever that is at any moment. - Evolved and now seeks only poetic justice for those wronged. Still furiously loyal to his new family he seeks to lay to waste all that deserve it.
