Background:

Khaide is the bastard son of a Human enchantress named Dienna and an unknown Air Genasi. His mother raised him, teaching him the fundamentals of the Art, before she was brutally murdered by the Cult of the Red Dragon for offenses offered during her adventuring days.

After finding his mother's defiled corpse on the steps of her still-smoldering enchantment shop, Khaide took the first ship he could find for Baldur's Gate in search of his mother's murderers and the power to defeat them.

He now seeks the skills to best his sworn enemies in the Cult of the Red Dragon with both sword and spell. Yet, he must first find work for himself.

One cannot defeat one's enemies on an empty stomach, and sweet revenge is best served for dessert...


Goals: Gain enough power to find and defeat the sect of Red Dragon cultists who murdered his mother.

Possible Plot-Hook Ideas and Misc Facts: Aside from the obvious plot hook involving the Red Dragon Cult, Khaide is a romantic. He has always sought the kind of love his parents never shared. That said, he can never resist a damsel in distress or an orphan in need.
