And thanks everyone for bearing with the "dodgeball" - I think it worked in the end, I was on the edge of my seat!
The sling contest was RIGGED!
Had a good time. Shame I was a bit late and missed the rest of the competitions.

Many thanks to Shyn (I think that's the name!) and that half-elf for playing along with Hoihe's best prank yet
Step 1: find a sleeping man.
Step 2: Cut a hole in a small piece of bear hide.
Step 3: Glue the bear hid with glue used by performers on the face, creating a false beard.
Step 4: mix muratic acid and fools' gold to create a terrible, pungent smell (In modern chemistrian: 2 HCl + FeS => H2S + FeCl2. Smells TERRIBLE)
Step 5: turn invisible and run away.
Step 6: wait for invisibility to run out and act like walking down the road casually
Step 7: Start interacting with the man, and offer him help with his beard while creating an imaginary trickster.
Step 8: Make the man believe you're creating a very potent potion to remove the beard while in truth you're creating soap water. And tell him how charitable you are giving it to him for free.
Step 9: Boil the water enough so it steams and make him lean over it while it's on the ground. Make him dip the beard into it without letting the water touch his face because the potion is "harmful for human skin, as known by many peasants. Elves are immune to it and use it all the time without harmful side effects"
Step 10: Reveal it to the man at first using subtlety
Step 11: Reveal it bluntly
Step 12: Wait for the man to react
Step 13: teleport fifty miles away.
Step 14: Say that Soora is bad influence and walk away laughing.

Yo yo yo.. just checking in to say hi to those that remember me. I have been away for nigh a year and have been playing around in other games.
One thing that I appreciate about my time spent here, and perhaps didnt nearly as much while i was here.. even our worst forum trolls pale in comparison to other game's forums. Ha ha!
I hope you all are bein kind to the staff, and enjoying this world that took loads of people years of work to create!

I just have to say, a shout out to Lampir for their ridiculously amazing RP last night with Annie in the woods. I mean, I lost track of time and only got 2 hours of sleep, that's how fun it was. I hope there are more moments like this is the future, not with Annie, but with anyone! Annie can 't wait for her next training or even talk with Kaltyra. Thanks a bunch!

Thanks to a great player (you know who you are) and the great mini-event we had last night. I forgot that I knew all that Oriental Adventures stuff and it was great fun to dust it off and use it again *bows with respect* Anata no sensei ni kansha. Think I'll go put Sho-gun on
My sincere appreciation to Passiflora for some awesome RP over the years, and his always inventive ways of making my own RP all the more exciting.

Yeh, Passi is a bag of laughs...even when sleep deprived. Don't forget about the sandwich shop people Passi.
But, the real reason I stopped in here is to recognize all the newbies of the Server. Everytime I drop in with a level 1 toon and a new character concept to RP, I immediately run into players with good spirit and energy, which further fuels my continuing interest to game here on BG.
So, three cheers to the new blood. You keep this game world vibrant. And...pick up those damn loot bags!!!
As J.G. Ballard has said, "It's a mistake to hold back and refuse to accept one's own nature."
As a new player myself (only been here a week), I want to express my gratitude to the few DMs that I have interacted with. They have been patient in answering questions, offering assistance and one even took the time to run a small (and enjoyable) event for me and a couple other lowbie characters.
I want to also thank the players I have interacted with. The RP has been solid, immersive and enjoyable and restored an appreciation for this game that I had lost. Thank you all for making this a great place to spend several hours out of a day!
