Myhun and Crownsilver are walking towards the gate when they both hear of the wayward Officer, 'Justin Cloudsilver'. Myhun turns to Crownsilver while laughing and says, "Hey Comrade. Looks like zat Cloudsilver guy is causing trouble again. Might be time to pull him in front of ze Duke"

He continues laughing and they continue their patrol.

Caedis Praedurum sits in the infirmiry at Candlekeep for several days recovering from an incursion on the Trade Way that occurred just down the road from the keep. None of the survivors are quite sure what happened. What is known is that whoever attempted and temporarily succeeded at slaying Caedis, a heavily enchanted mage elf, and another elf archer donning red-leather, was exceptionally deadly. Thankfully some armored female with some clerical training saved their souls from seperating from this plane permanently.

After analyzing the wounds on the survivors, it is clear the assailant used small blades and was very skilled as he/she managed to slip his/her blade in every viable weak point in Caedis's armor. An incredible amount of precision would be required to succeed in such an attack against this spirited follower of Helm.

The group surmissed that it must have been a drow attack... but none of the survivors can truly be sure.

Rumor speaks of an old man in wizards Robes wandering up and down the streets of Baldurs Gate..named Aldanon....near the Blade and Stars Inn...

He greets most with a smile, but his brow returns to worry once they pass on their way....

He mumbles of waiting on a man named Beren to come and see him....

Rumors begin to spread of a dark figure dressed in black seeking out one Myhun Kren. Before leaving he bids those who know Myhun asking to deliver the message that "His master has returned and seeks to meet with his Magelord: Dark Whisperer." Confused looks cross the faces of those the dark figure has spoken to and know Myhun as he slowly walks away and vanishes within the night.

Rumors continue to mingle and mix as some claim the mysterious figure to perhaps be that of missing Tomar The Black, leader of the Banites, using such aliases known to the order and such. Confused by the Guide of Candlekeep and mercenary of The Flaming Fist being a possible Banite the crowed within the tavern grows eerily silent as they think on the rumors of the black rituals involved with becoming one of these foul worshipers. After all, are not those of the Black Network known for their skill in infiltration? It is said to be accepted, a new member must take the life of an innocent in sacrifice to the Black Hand upon the alter to prove their worth, while pledging their soul to the dark lord as they thrust a blade into the heart of the innocent and steal their life in offering... Those who have claimed to have witnessed such rituals have left madmen and one was claimed to have taken his life days later. It was said the turned madman would not sleep or eat but lay huddled in a corner mumbling dark phrases and chants that were burned into his memory from experiencing such a vile and evil rite until days later he was found hanging by the neck from a tree.

As well it is said only those with a key to the temple would have proven their worth in such a manner for only those of the order of Bane can wield such an item... Does perhaps Myhun have this key, some ponder? Has anyone seen him use it? If so it can only mean one thing, and that is a most evil and heinous act would have been performed to acquire such a key.

Dark times lay ahead...

Rumors can be heard amongst the townsfolk of Baldur’s Gate and Beregost.. Sir Valenthel Wyndsoul, Noble Knight of Baldur’s Gate, has been heard denouncing the Paladin know as Arkaine Halforken. It seems he is saying that the recent savagery displayed on the tradeway clearly shows the people what he’s known all along.. half-orcs are nothing less beastly than their forsaken parents. Savagery and brutality simply can not be suppressed by those of his filthy blood line.

Rumors of the Druids and Rangers of the Keepers of the Elder Circle spread across the Forests and Cities that...

Galen'ael Glenstalker has been appointed Arch Druid...the former known as Tarsakh retired to a position of respect and dignity within the Circle...though rumor speaks that he still walks the Land...and that Galen'ael still holds his duties as the face and ambassador of the Circle dear to his heart...

That the Brothers known as Elohir and Faerynn have been promoted within the Cirlce due to their efforts and attention to their duties...

That the Circle is actively recruiting and is seemingly stronger than in years past...as change comes to the Land...they evolve with it to meet the needs of maintaining the Balance...

The beginnings are unclear of rumors spread of Beren Cross walking the tradeway with a full orc and a worg in tow. The two were spotted speaking amicably, and the worg was seen fighting at their side.

Strange company for one of justice.

Valenthel Wyndsoul is said to have laughed when told the story, saying that those of 'That' church cease to surprise him.

*Rumours spread of an orc submitting himself to be taken and questioned by the fist and jailed if necessary for any wrong doing. This is the same orc that has been seen in the city only under armed Fist escort as his request. He is heard saying that his actions are his alone and will atone for them as the city sees fit. He further speaks of something about the path he is walking should be his alone to atone for*

///any fist player or dm that wishes to take tarnock into custody and question him.. please do so. He will be avaialbe upon request...this offer extends to the wyndsouls as well
Wthyran Tal - Drooling, scarred and generally acidic.
Tarnok Deadsbane - Talk about guilt.

A Story flows across the Land....

It tells that Lokie the Warlock was slain and his remains taken by Members of the Elder Circle led by Arch Druid Galen'ael...the encounter totally random.

Loki...brutal and seething to the last promised to return and swore he was immortal....

Galen'ael proved him wrong...after he plunged his Scimitar into his chest and twisted it through his heart....declaring him guilty as Loki sputtered of a 'City' trail..the Arch Druid responding the Circle does not do trails for those of his ilk of evil..

Later...rumor has it..his mate..the elfing female..attacked Galena'el upon the Tradeway alone..and he bested her..nearly killing her and healing her...sparing her life...saying her crimes against the Circle did not yet warrant death....her gift at Shadows failing her against his magic.

He left her upon the road...crying..all around her oblivious as tears flowed down her cheeks...

Some of Galen's own questioning his sparing of her..but he silenced their concerns..some say or theorize he has a soft spot for the trouble Seladrine female...but it is so much more complex...for what side?

Who knows....

*Za'than sits to himself, as he often does, staring into the blazing depths of the seemingly everlasting fire that lits the small campsite at the outskirts of the farmlands. As the news cross his ears, he raises his gaze for a moment, then excuses himself, wandering down the road southwards as he often does, then mutters to himself while alone in his primary tongue, that of his father, that of a Baatezu*

"Interesting... most interesting. Pity, that the half-tanar'ri could not keep his spot on the board for longer than this... yet, it matters not in the long run..."

*he then smiles and nods kindly to a passing pair, then returns to his jolly persona*

"Well! At-least i'm sure the locals feel happy!... a warlock dead means less to worry about.. i wonder how many fears what tomorrow may bring, few im certain.. pity.. locals have so much to learn about the nature of things"

*he is later seen whistling a horrible tune (*preform roll*: 4) looking as jolly as ever*

A local nobleman of the name Garret Van Bastett has been seen restlessly walking the streets along with a few men at arms. Whomever he meets he asks if they have seen his beautiful daughter Frederica. She has not come home in days now. Although she likes to enjoy the night, not coming home is nothing she has done before.

Rumor has it as of late around Baldur's gate population...

... that what looks like to be a human male figure in a blue hooded cloak has been spotted being escorted by a dwarf flaming fist through the districts of the city and into the Flaming Fist's quarters in the Palace district. The man didn't seem bound, and was rather willingly following the dwarf's directions.

It is told that he has not left the Flaming Fist's quarters then.

Word spreads of Orcs settling south of Baldur's Gate along the Sword Coast: their number and intent, however, remains a total mystery.
