Ravens, crows, hawks and other carrier birds...
"There's a stirring in the north!" they repeat over and over again to all that will listen.
((Feel free to post questions or interact with the birds. Note you should be one that can communicate with such creatures or even better yet send your own- i.e. PM me))

With kind gestures a dwarf emerges from the woods and raises his arm for a perch and calls out waiting. Soon a raven lands and begins whispering in this ear.
"Aye, no... really? Elfs be a gather'n in masses." The dwarf slowly strokes he beard contemplating the news. "What of the Black Orcs and the barbarians?"
Craw Craw Craw
"Aye, odd indeed. I wonder what would cause such a as stirring in the Moors? They not know fir gather'n like that. Aye best be looking into such matters." with that said he motions for the bird to take flight and begins the long trek north.

What was happening had not been seen in centuries time. Things are now changing within this cursed and inhospitable land but what this change will bring, none would know. They just know that the elves have now come to gather..........

As Luthien directed a massive earth elemental to move a few blocks of marble, the raven's screeching distracted her for a moment - enough for the giant stony creature to act on its own and drop the huge block of marble it was carrying on the ground.
"Curses! It's the third time it happens! Stupid elemental!"
Her cussing, in turn, distracted Jaufre from his watch duty. The moon elf's ears twitched a bit at the sound of the huge block of marble falling on the ground, then he immediately noticed the raven.
"What is this all about, m'lady? Any ideas?"
"Do I look like someone capable of speaking with animals to you? I have no idea."
"Perhaps we could ask to one of your brethren in the south, m'lady."
Luthien nodded just once, then conjured forth a celestial hawk. As the creature landed in front of her, Luthien scribbled a few words on a note and tied it to one of the avian's legs.
"Go to Mendel, and hand him this message."
The note reads:
"Hey Mendel, we have a particularly pesky raven here that does not stop squeaking. I would be glad if you could come here and explain me what is he saying.

While the crows are simple minded you could induce the gathering in the moors is that of a union of the tribes under the daughter of "Ianuou Quitas" once a great leader of the norther Moor tribes.

Hoihe seems to follow around various tracks in the High Moors, mostly getting lost thanks to relying on his spells, cape and hat to guide him with only tiny bit of foraging training coming from him.
Despite that, he does stumble upon a consistent-like trail towards the North East, which he marks down on his maps and keeps following. He examines any and all elven ruins in the way, and so travels very slowly.

While Mendel spends some time walking in the Misty Forrest he notices the Celectial Hawk above him. He extends his left arm and lets the hawk rest on it. He reads the message and smiles, since it is the first time he heard from Luthien from the time she left for the temple in Ardeep Forrest. He quickly writes a reply and sends the Hawk on its way.
" Luthien,
I think it is time for you and Jaufre to take a break and visit us. Something big is about to happen and you wouldn't want to miss it for the world
Mendel"

A Sending reaches Luthien after Hoihe observes the third pack of elves going towards the said northeast he found the trail towards. Suspicious, he asks her:
"Luthien, there seems to be a gathering of elves in the High moors. Is it the celebration you told me? Hope I didn't interrupt anything"

A certain elven ranger hears of this strange cawing from a crow flying tree to tree. Listening to its urgent commotion, he tilts his head to the side in wonderment. "I wonder what this is about," he says, slinging his bow over his shoulder and descending from the tree he had been perched in, figuring he would go and have a look.

After meeting with Mendel, Hoihe's left wondering how Saline comes into this.. and wonders i he should send a Sending. In either case, he returns to exploring the High Moorish elven ruins.

((Looking forward to it Nezz
For all those whom wish to see the background leading to this event, I have made the topic within EDE's private forum now available to the public here:

I hope that all know that this would not be open information but it's always good to know work went into such endeavors and for the most part who the players are. Nezzer has worked very hard with Saline to get to this moment and I am proud to be their friend

Hoihe's been moving his research of the elven ruins found in the High Moors closer and closer to the north-east. Perhaps he ends up seeing the lake?

As Hoihe begins searching a series of stone ruins he looks around and finds himself surrounded by half a dozen green elves. The elves look rather primitive with most wearing bone necklaces, animal fur and leathers, two of them wear nothing but loin clothes. Those two have their elkhorn small bows trained on the human, three begin walking toward him brandishing spears and each looking at him with a great sense of agitation.
Finally, as the three spearmen stop a few paces from Hoihe the last wild elf of the hunting pack steps forward. He is adorned with beautiful turquoise and tiger eye stones from his necklace to several arm bands. He wears a well plumed feather headdress and upon his hip rests not a crude wooden carved weapon but a beautifully designed mithral longsword, curved with a pristine sharpness.
In elven he speaks to the human, "Why you come here, not place for your kind? You go now!"
