Background:
Born and raised in Evereska, Caelin was drawn to martial pursuits from a young age. Son of Calevar, a member of the Swords of Evereska, Caelin has long harbored a desire to become a member of the Elven defenders. However he is also struck with a desire to travel, and long held a fascination with sites of ancient Elven settlements and Elven artifacts. To this end he left Evereska, traveling to once-Cormanthyr, the host of many such sites. He spent a few years poking through the remnants of Myth Drannor, Elven Court and other such places before realizing that he belonged in the present, not the past. Leaving he traveled West, bypassing Evereska and headed instead to the Sword Coast in search of adventure and the chance to hone his skills and perhaps one day return to take a place in the Swords of Evereska.

Goals: To serve Good on behalf of Corellon, hopefully with a little adventure along the way! Caelin is something of a knight-errant. In human terms, he'd be a Paladin of sorts, although with his chaotic tendencies he'd never willingly submit to the rules and strictures of one. He does however have an earnest desire to do good, and combat evil. He is drawn to martial pursuits, especially mastering his use of the longsword.
Possible Plot-Hook Ideas and Misc Facts: Raised in Evereska, Caelin spent time in the region of Cormanthor, visiting and searching sites of antiquity among the elves (such as Elven Court, Myth Drannor and the like). He picked up the language while there, and fought Drow on occasion as those dark bretheren now infest the region. His strong interest is in Elven artifacts and ancient Elven sites, although he is seeking neither in his visit to the Sword Coast.
