Alarms sound from the Lord's Alliance building near the docks. Guards are posted at every exit from the Harbor district for several hours.

Some of those whispers speak of the involvement of a beautiful woman with dark hair and a blue dress getting between the bride and groom during the reception. The rumour quickly spreads along the Sword Coast by those who attended the wedding celebration between lady Narasida Zakine and sir Hernando Albrongardo. Entertainment was provided all night long and many were eager to join the contests. Elril won the poetry contest with the love poem "Hearts" and chose the finely crafted blade named "The Cold Heart" as his prize. Alaithus and Plar won the classical dance contest and split 1.1 million gold pieces between them.
Those who stayed late at the celebration may whisper of some ill befallen the groom.
Any powerful casters of divine or arcane origin who happen to cast True Sight in and around Nashkel find themselves blacking-out for the duration of the spell (potentially up to 1 hour for the most powerful of casters).
Any adventurers in their presence report them leaving the group in a contentious or disagreeable manner.
These casters find themselves coming-to in precarious situations. Depending on the duration of the spell, some find themselves in alleys having senseless debates with the local fool, drunk, or medicant. Others find themselves detained by the guard for some minor disturbances, or sequestered within the temple of helm with priests praying over them accompanied by armed Helmite guards. Some find themselves digging through an alley eating trash or bugs. Some find themselves being ushered out of the Town by a small agitated and hostile mob of locals. In the most extreme cases, these casters find themselves waking in the wilderness near Nashkel - naked or near-so - sometimes covered in the blood of a nearby slain animal.
The casters to whom this occurs have no recollection as to what happened during their black-outs, and find no locals willing to elucidate any events which may have transpired. Given the nature of these episodes, and the status of most adventurers powerful enough to cast such a spell, those succumbing to them would likely endeavor to keep the happenings quiet.

((those who were in the aftermath of the post-wedding event which happened last night would find themselves "coming-to" in similar circumstances as described above. However, they would retain a vivid memory of what transpired in the event prior to their blacking-out, as well as any injuries sustained. NPC's from the estate would not report any oddities happening in excess of drunken schenanigans)).
