Background: Born with amber eyes in a small secret enclave of Elves on the border between Shadowdale and Daggerdale, Fhaeo'Lingi lived a very secluded life in his earlier years. Often he was shunned by others of his clan because of his unnatural eyecolor.

As he grew up, he took to wandering the forest, exploring for days at a time. One of the elders recognized his passion for the forest and its protection, taking him under his wing providing guidance and council.

During one of his many travels he encountered a pair of Humans cutting down trees near the river bordering Mistledale. Enfuriated he attacked the Humans, knocking one unconcious and killing the other. Taking their tools he fled back to his home to report the incident to his elders.

Unbeknownst to him, the two Humans had not been alone and he was seen fleeing the scene. As he was talking with the elders, a scout came running in reporting many Humans sighted on the outer borders of their territory carrying weapons and torches. The elders blamed Fhaeo'Lingi for not taking greater care in covering his tracks.

Not wanting the Humans to find their hidden enclave, the Elves set out to lead the Humans away. The Elves were succesful, but it had come at the cost of several brothers and sisters, among them, the elder who had taken Fhaeo'Lingi under his wing.

Outraged by his actions, the remaining elders declared his unnatural eyecolor an omen of evil and malice. Condemning his actions as treachery against his people, they provided Fhaeo'Lingi with several days worth of rations and summarily exiled him from his home.

On that day Fhaeo'Lingi swore to uphold the balance of nature and protect the land and his kin. Even if his help is not wanted or praised. He also took to worshipping Rillifane Rallathil and live by his decree. Although exiled, he does not blame neither Humans nor his clan for his misfortune. Rather he blames himself for his rushed actions.

Since then Fhaeo'Lingi have wandered the lands looking for kin that will accept him despite his unnatural eyes. During his exile he have spent some time in Human cities out of necessity. Travelling for a year with Human he also learned to speak common.

It have been 6 years since his exile now. Arriving in Baldur's Gate only a few weeks past, he have set out to explore the Sword Coast looking for more of his kin and learn of the land.

Goals: To uphold natures balance. To protect his kin from danger. To find a new home and raise a family in the new land in which he have arrived.
