Grey orc- Mountain Orc RP

[Devonus]

So i recently got in a minor debate over one of my characters. My character has as his Character Sheet race grey orc. At the time i had originally invisioned this character as an orcish druid from the highwood.

After some debating i discovered that in truth, any orc from the highwood would be much more closely related to a Mountain orc, then a grey orc.

The point of contention in this debate was that, as mountain orc is not an available race, i have to rp as a grey orc (or a grey orc pretending to be a mountain orc... which is just silly to me)

So the question is, is role playing as a mountain orc acceptable as the difference is slight from a mechanical and visual aspect, and IC orc heritage would only be differentiated by people who take a care to actually know the difference between the various orc species. Or is it breaking the "roleplay" whats on the character sheet rule, and an over use of creative license?

My character has as his Character Sheet race grey orc.

Players are required to Roleplay their character sheets as is.

A PC may think they are of another race. But NO OTHER Player Character is required to believe yours.

I seem to remember an elf entering sshamath claiming to be of a race of spirits from back east. Fortunately it was quickly beheaded.
