Wooden armor, ya or nay

Is it within reason (considering lore, game mechanics, etc, etc.) for wooden models of breastplates, half plate, full plate, and maybe other solid metal armors?

Or would special individual items half to be made (different stats/mechanics etc etc)

Personally i would love for wooden armor to be in game with the ability to have the various different rare woods, but till that can become an acceptable reccomendation/future update, can we have some wooden armor skins made for current armor usage via the appearance changer?

I know Montaron and a few others had some good natural material substances textured up, but I'm not sure if they ever submitted them for use.

There's some Japanese armor models floating around which are made of wood for breastplates and such, they'd be great for Ironwood drops. You may wish to check on the Vault for assets.

azmodeth has graciously agreed to do up a few skins, but wanted to make sure the DMs would be good with the idea of wooden armor skins for some of the metal armors first. Im assuming that its acceptable then?

Guess that's saying it would be okay for on the server then, I'll take a look around and see what there is and if any improvements are even viable...

I know that Fhaeo would approve of a proper wooden Full Plate as all his items are made from ironwood bark
