According to the custom classes page on the forum, the Dragonslayer class grants spellcasting progression to the Assassin (and Blackguard) class.
If I had ten levels of assassin and ten of dragonslayer, would this mean I cast e.g. cat's grace as a lvl 15 caster? I'm trying to think of ways to increase my buff durations so they don't run out at an inopportune moment, as they tend to currently.

I am not sure if it works... I have not tested. But yeah, you should have caster level of 15. And if you pick Practised Spell Caster (Assassin), you get another +4.

Re: Dragonslayer and Assassin spellcasting
Tested it in JEGS - it works in there, at least.
Clairvoyance/clairaudience is 6 secs per lvl and lasts 1min with 10 assassin, and 1min 30secs with 10 assassin and 10 dragonslayer.
Second question - is this even really worthwhile?

Re: Dragonslayer and Assassin spellcasting
I think you're probably right. Will go for five levels of swashbuckler and another five of rogue instead, then. Dragonslayer seems to add a few useful things and better BAB progression, but I lose out on lots of lovely skills.

Looks like it's set to give you 1/2 Dragonslayer level to CL.
And you can dip practiced caster assassin for another +4.

Re: Dragonslayer and Assassin spellcasting
I think, more importantly, it doesn't fit the character's RP to be a dragonslayer anyway - he'd much rather avoid that sort of life-threatening exertion if possible. But thanks all for your input, it's very much appreciated.
