In 1349 DR - Year of the Bridle:
- Do Fort Beluarian (Flaming Fists) and Port Nyranzaru (Amn) already exist on the continent? Are Baldur's Gate and Amn colonizing Chult? I know that the discovery of Maztica is still some way off, going by realm's lore. But that's an entirely different continent.

Re: Questions on Chult
http://forgottenrealms.wikia.com/wiki/Rundeen <- Based on that Chult should be known at current date. Apparently it is supposedly based on the Lords of Darkness (3.X book). But it does not detail what is written on the Rundeen Page, and no other sources have been listed.
Anyhow, from the Grand History of the Realms:
451 DR Year of Unleashed Fears
The last of the Shoonach imperial garrisons are driven from the Chultan Peninsula and the Shaar
502 DR Year of the Crawling Vine
The Rundeen, a Tashlutan merchant consortium, establishes a monopoly on all trade entering or leaving the ports in Calimshan and the Chultan Penin-sula, as well as on slave trade along the southern shores of the Shining Sea.
1104 DR Year of the Dark Dawn
Noted explorer Lord Vanrak Moonstar returns to Waterdeep from a disastrous expedition to the Black Jungles in Chult.
1349 DR Year of the Bridle
The Harpers succeed in breaking the Rundeen trade monopoly in Chult and disrupting their activities in Calimshan after slaying three Rundeen leaders and nearly fifty lesser agents.
/// We cannot say it is a 'lost' continent it has been made to be.

Re: Questions on Chult
In Gold and Glory, page 9, the Flaming Fist expedition to Chult is described in some detail. It is mentioned to have taken place after the Horde Wars and discovery of Maztica. So, I we can assume that these settlements do not exist currently. So, that would place them after the year 1361.

Re: Questions on Chult
Port Nyranzaru Should exist, because trade in Chult exists, and is run by Rundeen. (Port Nyranzaru is listed as the primary trade port. In all the source books I have read.)
So to sum it up;
Fort Beluarian does not exist yet. (Most likely named after Belaurian who perished during the expedition.)
Port Nyranzaru exists, but is under the control of the Rundeen. (Organization hailing from Calimport.)
