Background: Duriel Yurvir is a Shield Dwarf, and as such, he admires well crafted work, and loves reading books. His father died in a skirmish against the orcs, thus the elder of his family, his greatfather was the one who taught him what he needs to know. He tends to favor the Dwarven Waraxe as a weapon, which is beautiful as well as sturdy, and a fine example of Dwarven craftsmanship. Being young, he can not be described as wise, and being a small (although taller than some) hairy dwarf, as well as his distrustful nature common to the Shield Dwarfs means he has less charm than a goat. Even so, those whom he learns to trust, and gets close to him get to see under his unelegant nature, and see a companion who they can trust to guard them with his life. His stubbornness is almost legendary even among his dwarven kin, so telling him outright what to do will almost certainly make him do otherwise (even if he set out to do what has been told, beforehand).
