Chapter 1:

As the sun begins to rise again for the 31st time on my voyage, the waves begun to settle and the skies began to clear allowing the sun's blessing of light pass through the clouds lighting up the ocean view glisening in a multiple of bright blue colors. I hear the captain of the vessel yell "Land Hoe!!!" After doing so many heads turn to view the beaches of the great lands of Never Winter as does mine. The people begin to cheer and and hug one another, throwing their hats and other orniments into the air as it has been a long... long journey.

The ship docks and the people begin to unboard, as the captain says "Welcome to Bauldurs Gate ladies and gentlemen!" After a short while i finally depart from the ship behind the large groups of familes and freinds. As i walk around and survey the great city, after being settled into the local Helm and Cloack inn I am greeted by a drafty looking dwarf. He smells of coal and sweat as he carries his miner pick axe. He wears a hard hat with a large flash light attached to the front. "Lo' ere lad." He says with an overly large grin on his face that could beat and grin from my homeland. He tell me that we has work and needs someone who is quite the fighter. He tells me that the local mines have been infested by lizard men and large vermin that inhabit it now so mineing there is very dangerous. I accept his task telling him i shall clear these mines and bring him back some ore in the process. This shall be my frist task in these new lands and surely not my last....

Chapter 2:

As I begin to settle in Bauldurs Gate, I start to learn of local lore and mysteries of these vast lands of Never Winter. One of the local rumors i over heard was about the local grave yard. It seems that the dead have begun rising from their graves and causing havoc throughout the out skirts of Bauldurs Gate. After some time of thinking I decided to see to see these undead for myself and to also explore these vile grave yards for you never know what kinds of treasures or magical items one might find in their depths.

I had begun supplying for my travels, gathering scrolls, weapons, and armor from the local shops. After I felt I had sufficient equipment, I set out on my way to the grave yards... at a very slow pace...

The stench of rotting bones and decay flood my nostrils as i delve deeper and deeper into the grave yards. It was a vile place indeed as the sight of undead skeletons and zombies roamed throughout the corrupt lands, rattling and wailing, their cry's for mortal flesh and battle echoed throughout the darkened skies enough to send chills down ones spine from miles away. I took a deep breath, slightly shaking in the knees and moved forward past the main gates. That's when it turned to met its eyes to mine... A rusty skeleton its bones covered with marrow and dirt. Its eyes glowed of a red color almost like fire burning in its skull for a head. After a short stare down between me and the monster it laid out a horrifying screech, sending an army of undead monsters and minions to my position.

That's when i drew my sword and prayed that i would come back from such a fight... In one piece....

Chapter 3:

I had arrived back to the road back in one piece some how after fighting hordes and hordes of undead minions throughout the night. As i made my way back from the grave yards I have seen a commotion on the road. A man that seemed to be some sort of necromancer by the two non-hostile undead creatures standing by his side had been walleyed by some sort of knight in glistening silver plate mail armor. She told him he was not allowed roam on these lands with such demonic monsters as it would corrupt the purity of the lands. He man simply denied to do anything the knight requested sending his minions to attack the knight without a word.

A fight had broken out, an multitude spells and enchantments lighted up the night in an array of colors from blues, yellows, and reds. The knight seemed to have the upper hand bashing and thrashing her way through the necromancers minions and almost penetrating his magical sheild. But it seems the necromancer had a trick up his sleeve, he encircled the knight in a magic warding trapping her from movement. As the knight struggled to chop and mumbles words of release spells to break, the necromancer took the opportunity to head back into the depth of the night due in the southern direction. After a while the knight had finally broken out of her imprisonment taking no time to rest, running in the direction of the necromancer yelling "Get back here fiend!". I took this chance to get back to the gates of Bauldur's where i would be safe from such people or beast of the night...

Chapter 4:

I had begun to make my to a nearby tavern called "The Friendly Arms Inn". Rumor has it the grand auctions is staged there, an array of magical swords, clothing and enchantments are bought and sold there, sounds like quite the festivity. Its also known that many adventures travel through the location and stay at a encampment near the main gates, exchanging stories and setting up group to set off on glorious adventures for bards to sing in their tales...

As I follow the road in the direction of "FAI" I come across many different points of interest and sights. For casual highway bandits and hill top ruins to a great, mighty bridge guarded by a large number of "Armed to the teeth" guardsmen. As I pass the bridge I could remember each one of their curious faces, eyeing and surveying my every movements as i pass...

I finally had reached the great check point of "FAI" after a two day walk from Baulurs Gate. I approached a encampment staged outside the main gates of a fortified facility, where even more bundles of faces turn to my direction. They were no mere guards these ones, they were arranged of different races and sizes, dressed in high classed and refined robes and armor plates. I walk past the encampment slowly, hearing words of "Who is that?" and "A foreigner?" I walk through the main gates past an ever more glaring eyed guard, even worst then the guards on the bridge. This looked to be no mere inn, it looked to be a castle from the greatly fortified walls and guardsmen on them. But it felt slightly welcoming in an odd way... "Now where is the inn I need a drink" I mutter to myself, as i knew it wouldn't be the last time saying such...

Chapter 5:

I've been at "Friendly Arms Inn" for some time now. I seem to have favored a spot rear the encampment outside the main gate of the inn. It is a grid of smooth boulders and rocks of which i lean or sit on. I've been examining a magical item i have found from the local Gibbler caverns toward the back of FAI. After some time of tampering and tinkering with the object I head inside to the auction tent to where I see a individual standing, looking to the list of auction of items up for purchase. She looked to be of mid age, standing at an average height. I approach her readying the present the item. As i get within a close distance she turns to look my way surveying me obviously cause she has never saw me a day in her life. "Would you happen to know what this is?" She then turns her head to the item, taking it from my hands and examining it carefully. "It looks to be a scimitar, a quite well refined one." "You could fetch a good price at the auction for this" She says in a low voice that could be even overheard by the nearby crickets. I simply nod my head in thanks for her wisdom. "I am Elaria of the mystic blades." She says with a smile that would break the clouds of a storm then making them shift to clear the skies. I return the gesture with my name and ask her if there are any local rumors worth hearing. She simply smiles again as i walk with her towards the gates... Best make friends early it seems...

Chapter 6:

I've begun to make a name for myself at the Friendly Arms Inn. I knew many of the faces now that walk to and from the encampment of FAI. I sat at my favorite spot today, on the bundle of smooth rocks and boulders on the opposite side of the road from the encampment. I lean on a fairly large boulder of which i light a pipe I obtain from my back sack and also my black leather book as well. I proceed to smoke and read inside the book. After a while of sitting a man approaches me. It was a dwarf, about half my size and had enough hair from his beard to make a dozen coats for the winter. "Lo' ere lad." He says to me from below the boulder. I Life my head from my book to nod then returning to my book. "We er' formin e' group to go en' cut some o em lizard folk yonder." I look to the man with curiousness as he seems to be looking back at me with a slight curious face of his own. I simply noded to the man leaping from the boulder and pocketing me book and pipe while in the air. "You be lokin like one o em twinkle fingers" He says as he seems to be examining my armor and other equipment I had on at the moment... We set of to the encampment on the other side of the road where the group was looking in our direction smiles and whispering words to one another....
