Questions about the 'Dash' feat.

Unread post by Snarfy »

Is the movement speed increase supposed to show up under the 'status' bar on the first page of your character sheet or give you an icon beside your portrait?

I have the feat but I have no indicator of a movement speed increase, nor can I tell if I'm moving 5% faster. I've walked beside other characters with the same feat and they seem to move faster as well.... and on that note, does the dash feat have the same 5% speed increase regardless of which class gives it?

There's no notification that you have it and walking won't show much. It's really noticeable when you're running away from someone with no speed boost.

As for regardless of class... Yes all around. It's not a 5% increase to your total movement speed just 5% of your normal move speed. Let's take a level 1 barbarian with fast movement, a 10% increase. Give him dash and he's at a 15% increase, thus he moves at 115%.
Wirg to Pug: "Iz lat dun?"
Pugratix to a snarky militia man: "Mmmm. Not yet. I will live for hundreds of years and be heralded as one of the greatest forces of destruction on the face of the world. The only thing you can destroy is the outhouse."
