Duelward question..

Hello, for the 5th level spell duelward it states it can be used as an immediate action. When duelward is used for a counterspell does it count as the action for your round or uses your next turns round?

If you can still retain your action after countering with duelward that is like a one time use epic counterspell, sound pretty powerful.

Any feedback on people who have been using this spell, wasn't sure if I should pick it up on my sorc.
