Northman

It was warmer. Which was nice. But the wild was gone here and Magnus' heart ached for it.

The city walls rose slowly higher ahead blocking the sun. A straight, mundane, mockery of the untamed mountain range of his mothers lands that had towering over him every day of this young life. The Spine….so far away now. The north horizon seemed empty here.

But he sought a new life. And so this is where he would make it. As far south as he would go…as far south as the people of Uthgars blood had gone in thaeir wandering.

He could almost feel in his soul the absence of Uthgars own steps on the grasslands in these southern lands. But the Foehammer belonged to his people to, above all others in fact, and he would watch him here. He would walk the path of Tempos here.

He looks about the land once more as the caravan slowed. His new home.

It would do.

He looked to the broken straps of his armour and notched blade. His livelihood.

That would not.
