Tattoos: Daniel has several tattoos across his face and body, each representing a different animal he bested in a feat of strength, agility, cunning, or otherwise. For each animal he adds a line, believing that this ritual will earn/grant him the strength of their spirit/aspect. For example he has a mark from besting a bear king in a wrestling match, and another mark for outpacing a mountain lion on its preferred terrain.

Beliefs/Code: Daniel believes that the best way to understand the animals is to live with them, which is exactly what he does. Also to work into this idea even more he has trained with the animals over many years to strengthen his natural form (His body), to become as close to purity as possible. He refuses to use weapons, believing them unnatural and unnecessary, and a mark of weakness and lack of discipline, unwillingness to open to your pure, natural state of being. He trains constantly, honing his abilities attempting to become as one with the animals and himself.
Daniel cares for the forest, the elements and the spirits, as much as most druids, but to him the animals are his main focus and love.
Daniel is also a vegetarian, due to both his love/reverence of animals, and as a sign of purity of body, keeping his blood clean of any other beings. (The vegetarianism results in him not looking overly bulky).

Other than that he is your common nature abiding druid, upholding his love of the wood fervently.

Daniel doesn't like politics, but he isn't bad at it, and can actually be a fairly good planner and negotiator when the need arises. He prefers to resolve things with actions rather than words, but knows that sometimes it is a necessary thing, and to not be open to it would be a mark of unwillingness on his part, which would mar his idea of purity/openness.

A bit of Background: He was raised by his mother and father and had a happy normal childhood by most accounts, except for the fact that he was a vegetarian even then due to his mother. He always enjoyed the outdoors, and traveled into the local forest often. One day at about the age of 17 he decided he wanted to try living out in the wild, and hasn't looked back since. He still visits his parents, as he loves them almost more so than his work, but spends most of his time in the wood now, meditating, training, and correcting imbalance in the wood, though it is not unheard of him to spend time with the animals of the plains and the mountains as well.
He is somewhat of a traveling druid, and feels no attachment to any one forest, believing that so long as he carries his tranquility with him it will spread where he goes.
