Background: Farden was born in Baldur's Gate. He was of a wealthy family of mages and merchants, the Baldur's Gate Hendralsons. The family, perhaps because of its arcane heritage, is generally known to be a good solid line of decent people. Nevertheless there are strange rumours about the clan's founder - a near mythical mage called Hendral.

Goals: Rise in magical power - perhaps become a benevolent noble in Baldur's Gate.

Possible Plot-Hook Ideas and Misc Facts: For practical and game play purposes Farden is almost 100% human. He is not Aasimar nor half-elf. However, in fact for various reasons there was non-human blood in the line and centuries ago, before they moved to Baldur's Gate, Hendralson blood was mixed with celestial and drow. Since then the family has only married humans and the other blood has thinned to nothing more than a trace, with a slight aptitude for the arcane.
