from EDE ReveriePreparations-- Interuptions....
Inside the temple Elethineth unrolled a silk cloth across a workbench. Several silver petals opened their fragile folds to her gaze. "What beauty and majesty nature bequeaths us,” she thought. She recalled her kins' tale of the flowers acquisition and the promise of healing power the lizard men said the petals contained. Looking closely at the silver petal she noted that its hue was the same as that of an illuminating moon.
From her perch near a window she heard a hubbub of voices from below. Distinguishing a few far off words she sighed. "Wood Elves, Kora, shadow weave, arcanism, Elders, Zhents, Reds, and Wild Elves." She sighed again, perhaps if she made enough tincture she could administer something to the Dharashans, calming their heated words and arguments. She chuckled at the thought. "No, they will find consensus at some point,” she concluded.
Just then Andariel's sending flashed his request to her ears as he informed Darasha of Luthien's current condition. She gathered her things and whirled into action. She quickly listed her next immediate actions. A sending to Andariel and Luthien, inform the Ahk'Aegis of her plan, complete her medicinal preparation and ready herself for ritual.

from EDE/ReveriePreparations-- instructions..
Brothers," she begins, standing before Mendel and Fhaeo. "I have sent word to Andariel to return our High Priestess Luthien from Ardeep. Upon their return in a fortnight I will commence a Seldarine healing ritual. The assistance of a blessed of Corellon will be required. Perhaps Kora can sing the Rituals of Praise to the Protector and Preserver of Life as I seek the aid of the Lady of Dreams as I mend the shadow fiend's wound to Luthien? Also, please instruct the village to ensure that Kora, myself, a basin, and it's contents, are not to be disturbed this next fortnight in the grove."
With her instructions given, Elethineth turns towards the temple workbench.

Re: En Dharasha Everae RP thread
Andariel recieves the sending whilst pulling out some overgrown weeds from the side of the temple wall.
"Oh thank the Gods!", the sweaty Gold Elf said as his robes clung to his strong frame. "Time to go home Sister!", he walks to the center of the Temple where the serene Lady Luthien lye. "None to soon either, you are looking a little pale but just wait right there a moment and I will get the Rangers to bring the carriage around", he tells her passionately, his exuberance echoing through the hall.
He stops as he turns around to look at the hidden majesty of the temple, "Oh, I do hope you might take us all back here to finish this, I had worked so hard to get this place picked up a bit", he says before sighing and moving for the door. "Grab the carriage my almond colored breathern, we are going home!", he tells the two Rangers who in turn give him a funny look as they sit up and begin moving to retrieve the carriage.

The Elf Kaienrai was seen leaving the village in the midst of night. The rangers say he walked with a purpose and turned around once to stare at the village whole, before continuing on.

Walking across the Boareskyr Bridge, Kai notices the bat and dismisses it at first, but it's determination and insistance breaks the elf's somber mood. He perks up and watches the bat for a few minutes. It is then that he notices the eerie quiet around the bridge. No N'Tel'Quess to bother or harrass him...highly unusual this environment, especially at this time of night.Invoker wrote:An unnaturally large, pitch black bat follows Kai wherever he goes. Staring at the bat a little while longer, he gives in and follows the creature.

Re: En Dharasha Everae RP thread
from EDE/Reverie Preparations-- the Making of an Ancient Remedy
She turned to the worktable and quickly reviewed the elven text. Using the formulas within "Silnelv Iramfilc Anelnyanymala (Making Herbal Tinctures)” as a guide and with supreme confidence and faith in the visions that had guided her thus far Elethineth set about making a unique concoction.
Following the steps of “Illnyealan Masaweala (Ancient Remedies)” and potent healing tinctures she had learned from the "Silnelv Iramfilc Anelnyanymala" she measured and readied some apple cider vinegar with recently pressed nut oils that a Dharasha wood elf provided. This mixture would be the menstruum, the catalyst necessary to extract a concentrate.
Next she turned to the petals that lay upon a silk kerchief. Leaving one aside she admired their shape and hue of moonlight. Placing them into a mortar she picked up a pestle and set to work. With a prayer to the Seldarine on her lips she carefully ground them into a paste. As their glimmering white color vanished underneath the pestle she gasped, overcome with by emotions she had submerged and discarded from her conscious awareness over the past weeks. As hopes of healing her love, of despair of possibly having her love's mind lost forever and despondent feelings of inadequacy and helplessness washed over her tears welled in her eyes and flooded down her cheeks. At the very moment she felt most overcome a tear from each side of her cheek dropped into the mortar. Her vision too blurry and tearful to notice she momentarily convulsed, “Goddess." Somehow her hands kept the pestle moving, grinding, and grinding, the beautiful petals to mush. She swallowed hard and compelled her mind to call out, "Faith..., have faith."
Exhausted yet steeling herself she began to scoop the paste into a glass jar with a compression top, the type used sometimes in fermentation. This particular jar was exactingly tight fitting with a glass lid. Overtop the paste she poured the menstruum and set the lid firmly into place, securing its seal with the press of the jar's levers.
Picking up the lone petal and wrapping it safely again with silk she thought. "I must save this for the finest elven silversmith. It would surely inspire such a crafter to make something magnificent in honor of Sehanine Moonbow."
With that, she headed towards the glade reminding the Rangers of her strict instructions to ensure no disruption in the glade for a week.
There in the peace of the glade, with the jar set in beams of moonlight Kora, the priestess of Corellon would sing the Rituals of Praise to the First of the Elves and she would sing prayers to the Daughter of Moonlight. For a week they would stand vigil ensuring that the jar be touched by moonlight, allowing the Ecw Faer Illnyealan Masaweala (Old Magic of the Ancient Remedies) to affect the tincture.

Re: En Dharasha Everae RP thread
Kora and Elethineth make there way towards the glade as Elethineth explains what has happened and what must happen in order for the cure to be made.. Kora starts by Consecrating the ground with holy water and silver dust as holy energy seeps through she meditates getting ready for the long night ahead.

As the moon stands highest in the night sky, the elven priestess kora dressed in robes of bright azure with the holy symbol of Corellon in one hand and a silver long sword in the other, can be seen dancing in the glade the moon light shining upon her bright robes and silvery sword, she sing's her pray's in elven her beautiful voice echoing through the forest.
"Corellon, by your grace grant us the power to mend our kin, and grant me the strength to protect this most sacred ritual..."
although the words change the song always starts Corellon, by your grace grant.. a new song and dance to be offered to the all father on each passing day of this Ritual.
The elven maiden continues to dance and sing offering praise to the father of elves as the moon light catches the jar, Elethineth and Kora taking turns in who may stand vigil and who may rest.
should anyone come near during the day Kora keeps a keen eye on them if they are kin and asks anyone else to leave, not trusting a soul she dose not know near the jar its self without Elethineth first allowing it, if they approach at night time she seems focused in her praise to the all father and allows others to keep her and the jar safe.

Re: En Dharasha Everae RP thread
Day Two

the first day passed without incident, the second proving to be much the same, a few elves and a human being the only ones to pass through the glade. the human was allowed
but a moment to rest before being sent on his way Kora's personality seemed to switch while the human remained, rather then her normal fun loving self she showed hostility..
and threatened to behead him if he stepped foot in the glade again within the next tenday.
the other elves where showed a kind smile and her normal hospitable nature as the day passed, those who asked her what the alter was there for, where only told that she
seeks the blessing of Corellon, the priestess encouraged her kin to offer song, dance and works of art in the hopes that it would draw Corellons gaze upon the ritual.
The elven woman known as Gwethglerdollel or Gweth for short, offered a song to the father of elves, a druidess of the Triune also offered a sculpture of a gold dragon carved out of topaz that currently sits at the base of the alter with the other items, despite kora's best effort the mage Gabriela refused to sing to Corellon, insisting the needed to water her non existent flowers.
as the moon rises in the night sky kora insists that those not currently premeditated by Elethineth leave the site so that they can both continue the ritual.

Re: En Dharasha Everae RP thread
Kaienrai sat within the tower, alone with his thoughts. The two mighty mages were out seeking regents at the moment. Sitting in the absolute silence, he had time to think about everything that happened within the last ten day. He placed his house crest on the floor in front of him, along with the ruined symbol of Bane and he stared at the two items for what seemed like hours. For it was these two items that made him leave the village environs. He did not wish harm to come to the village should the Banite's be able to track him. He felt safer here outside the village and within the Archmage's abode. That in his thoughts, he closed his eyes and drifted into Reverie. He stiffened as it took him.
Warmth flowed around him, unlike ever before.
He felt love.
He felt nature.
He felt his People.
He felt Arvandor.
He felt the overwhelming heart of the Seldarine. It surrounded him, filled him and threatened to overwhelm him. Confidence and protection filled his senses and for once, in a long time, he felt....safe. Bright whites, blues and greens clouded his sight. He opened his mouth to speak but no sound came out. He opened his mouth and willed his heartsong released but heard...nothing. Felt nothing. Winds swirled around him, looming on every each side, grabbing his cloak and lifting him from the floor of the...no! He was no longer in the tower! He just floated in a sea of absolute warmth, his mind wide open to everything but nothing at the same time. He could not focus, he could concentrate. He began to suffocate. He began to panic. But in that rush the soft light of the crescent moon shined brightly ahead of him. The guiding light so cool and soothing. The beacon of hope and magic in the chaos. He willed himself there...in that direction. To the direction of the moon. He let the soft moonbeam caress his cheek and embraced it in all it's majesty. And he felt...serenity.
The love of a God,
You will never know,
When it comes, it happens,
A beauty now you will sow.
Join with the People,
Be one with the cause,
Fear not the swirling darkness,
And give all evil pause.
Let difference bind you,
As the vine to the tree,
Let hope unite you,
Let the village be free!
Take hold of one another,
Grow the bonds even stronger,
Guard against doubt,
And flourish even longer.
Do not lose hope,
Use the wisdom of the Elder,
Look to the Seldarine,
Look to the Protector.
He woke from the Reverie, sweating, clothes soaked and pulse racing. He blinked in the dim lighting to right his sight, still staring awe struck at what just occurred. He looked down at the two symbols on the floor in front him. One now shining so much brighter than the other. He looked left of those and saw the parchment with ink and quill laying next to it.
When did he write that? He thought, shaking his head.
His heart smiled.

An armed group of highly disciplined, well armed and well armored humanoids lead by an attractive looking lady in purple robes known as Telia Navra, Black Cloak of the Zhentarim, marched across the Boareskyr Bridge and towards the ruins of Bridgefort. In close proximity to the ruined structure, they were met by a small contingent of elves. A rather lengthy exchange took place, then the two sides parted ways, still clutching their weapons (at least, those who had any use for them) but without bloodshed.

Re: En Dharasha Everae RP thread
A carriage can be seen returning to the ancient stone circle by the Boareskyr River. Slender figures, two dawning olive green cowls and one a beautiful azure, move around to the back of the carriage. The green cloaks pull back a silken blanket while the azure cloaked figure draws forth a thin, seemingly lifeless body with straw colored hair which fell almost to the ground.
They moved for the large stone set deepest into the circle.
The azure cowled wizard spoke the words in elven,
Then suddenly they were gone. The Priestess Lady Luthien had returned home once more, now the threat of shadows had passed. It can only be hoped that her loved ones might breath the light back into her, as now she is now returned to their care.......

In the Misty Forest, those travelling or hunting orc may happen upon, here and there over the next few days, the skeletons of forest animals and stray orcs. They are picked clean of flesh, and often the plants around them seem burned away by acid.

Fhaeo, often out on patrol, happens upon the skeletons one day and frowns. Holding some of the remains in one hand, he rises from the forest floor and slowly turns around, listening to the sounds of the forest and searching for any signs of recent travel that might explain this strange occurence.DM Golem wrote:In the Misty Forest, those travelling or hunting orc may happen upon, here and there over the next few days, the skeletons of forest animals and stray orcs. Thinking it best to act quickly, he pockets a few of the bones and burned vegetation for the druids to examine in a small pouch. Letting out a shrill whistle, he calls upon his companion, the wolf Teesa. Gesticulating to her, mixing the animal language with a few elven words, he instructs her to run back to the village. After tying the pouch around her neck, he gives her the signal to go, and heads deeper into the forest to search for further clues, hoping that Teesa will be able to fetch someone to help him solve this mystery.
