Massive kudos to DM Dhampir for running a totally ad hoc, utterly impressive, and hideously intense event for a lucky group of adventurers in the Fields of the Dead yesterday.

We lost count of the death-toll, near lost our minds, and ultimately ran like rats from a necromantic conflagration!

Thanks also to all those who took part and provided such a great RP experience. A whole bunch of us were reminded what makes this the best server going!

So many to thank, starting with the DM team that (rightfully so) humbled me.


Luna, ever the one to add more content.
Rasael, the programmer that makes sure new spells and abilities, skills and what not are implemented.
Tfunke, mad Ozzie, for creating half the server for us to play on.
The entire QC team spending hours on end to then debate about the results.
Many, many players, that showed some well done RP, even if we met only once.
Builders that helped me beyond a stupid build, (shut up thorsson)
Players I teamed with to create epic depth. (You know who you are, miss red head )
And finally, some of those that really tested me, among at least one, since he's always "grumpy"

My gratitude, to a server maintained by so many. I love you all. But it's time to go.
I say: Have fun, be good friends, and make Rp happen.
And the many, many, Dm's bold enough to take the Dm-ing job. Forever create fun!

Thanks guys, but I was merely the face of the whole machinery. There's plenty of others that have done much to make the event happen. Thids, c2k and Xyrismourn all helped with it. And also a thank you to the "hired muscle" that helped with the small (but equally important) parts. You know who you are.

And thanks for showing up in such great numbers, people. Hope we'll see just as many next time. And yes, there will be a next time.
