The sinister building beckons her in the fading light of a dying sun's rays. The air is still around it, no sound or sign of life comes from the courtyard or the area immediately nearby...except, she knows full well somebody is likely home. The decision is hers, now...

At a secluded place in the forest, near a waterpond, Ithilwen sits with her back against a tree. She stares at the water, following the ripples created by the wind, with her eyes. She seems in thought. She sits there motionless for a long while until she takes out a piece of parchment and quill. She starts writing, a slight hint of sadness shining through her otherwise serene cold mask, which vanishes as she dries the ink with her breath. She folds the letter and seals it with a trickle of her gift. She closes her eyes and whispers a few words in the arcane language, close to the sealed and folded letter. It starts to float in front of her until it gets picked up by a cold breeze. She watches the letter until it vanishes out of sight as it travels through the canopy of the forest. She lets out a sigh and gathers the shadows around her. Within the shadows she remains sitting there for a while longer. Staring at the ripples in the water created by the wind, with her eyes.

Re: En Dharasha Everae RP thread
The words of the Elders resounded in Kaienrai's mind as he left the Caercilcaern.
It was an interesting meeting to say the least. They had sought audience with the Elders for some time, and finally, their plea was heard. He had entered the meeting towards the latter of it and silently chided himself for being late. Once he entered, he stood a bit in the back as to not be disrespectful, until ushered forward by the Selu'Onal. There, he stood quietly next to the Grove Master, always careful to not step on him, and listened to the debate and the exchange of words.
Many thoughts flowed through his mind, during the meeting. The looks of the Dharashans and the diplomacy of all around inspired him. All working together for the betterment of the People of the village. The answer of the Elders, though a bit surprising, was not without merit, and the spirit of the Dharashans within the room did not diminish. The Elders had more combined wisdom than all Dharashans that were gathered together, so who were they to question it?
The ideas of Master Deacon sat rather...interestingly with the Dharashans and Kaienrai could not help but grin while they conversed on the orders of the Elders. Some looked less than motivated to carry out this order but they set their hearts to it and would do what was necessary to work toward this goal. That is what he loved most of his brothers and sisters and that eased him as he made his way along the tree tops.
"Why wait until the day?" He thought. Kaienrai made his way amongst the villagers, helping them with everyday tasking and pitching in where he was able to. He sang songs and told tales on breaks and over meals, and merriment was the theme throughout that afternoon.
As dusk fell, and Sehanine's smiling face raised in the sky, he made his way to a secluded corner of the village and fell into Reverie under the stars. And, once again, he could not feel his family back in Silverymoon..not his mother, or brothers, or even Glaise. The love of the Protector, however, was felt in every ounce of his being.

Re: En Dharasha Everae RP thread
Playful screams and laughter was heard in the hall that lead towards the First Mage's chambers. Children's laughter. A place normally devoid of any kind of merry sounds. Just as Kael extended his hand to open the door, it flies open and a young child runs out screaming and laughing, followed by three well aimed snowballs that the black mage barely manages to dodge himself. They hit the wall behind the door and splatter apart, the pieces of it slowly sliding down. He took a deep breath and set another step towards the door. Two more children with snowballs in their hand rushed out, chasing their friend as they almost collided with the black robed elf just outside the door.
"It was easier to fight against the Orcs, I swear it..." As he finally manages to open the door an unexpected sight unfolded in front of his eyes. The normally clean and neat chambers changed in what looked like the lair of a polar bear. The walls, the chairs, the desk, the floor... everything was covered in a layer of ice. Ice stalactites were hanging from the ceiling. At the place the first mage normally took her reverie was now an area filled with soft fluffy snow. Remnants of half made snowmen and snowy children's footprints scattered and littered the room. Her desk, normally the embodiment of order, now contained an iced stalagmite, of which from the top a sort of iced slide curved down to the floor. At the bottom of the floor sat the First Mage herself. Tranquil, with her eyes closed. No emotions showed on her frozen face. Only those who knew her would catch the desperation in her next words.
''I am not made....to entertain...''
Trying to hold on to his footing on the slippery, iced floor, the dark wizard replied sadonically: "And THAT is why you called me! Traditionally, the life of the party.... He muttered something obscure in a long-dead tongue before weaving a ward against cold, and trying to decide where to sit...and if...

Deacon manages his way up a flight of stairs before arriving at the First Mage's chambers. Normally Deacon's beard would be the only snowy white aspect of his appearance. But as he wandered into view it became apparent that he was instead covered from the tip of his hat to the toes on his feet in snowy white snow.
"Beware the young ones." Deacon warned while waggling a stern finger. "Deacon fell victim to a cold projectile. A snowball" He says while brushing himself off. "Now, what in Chauntea's blessed deeds is going on here?"

The First Mage opened her eyes slowly. She lingered her gaze on Kael, then shifted to Deacon.
''An attempt at... entertainment. See what I could do for this...fair you had in mind. I was experimenting on some of the children, to see what they would..appreciate. I came to the conclusion that what they...appreciate... I do not.''
She glanced around her room, observing the mess it had created. ''Nor do my chambers...'' Her gaze stopped on Deacon and she noticed the snow covering the poor fellow. She raised her eyebrow. ''And not to you as well it seems...''

"I think you two are being overdramatic..." the Archmage's voice carried a dangerous amount of sarcasm "...I mean, they're just kids, right? How hard can it be to keep them entertained...?". He eloquently looked around, nodding "Impressive use of your powers, dear...and Grovemaster, your new snow-white outfit is a really nice touch...good job everyone." he uttered as a short, suppressed laugh escaped his throat.
Given the look on Ithilwen and Deacon's face, he saw it fit to hastily conjure up a shielding weave...just in case...

*Nai pads up excitedly in Winter wolf form with Nim right at her side, both wagging their tails furiously. Seeing the snow both rush right in, hardly a hello, and dive in the snow covered room. Nai giggles like crazy rolling in the snow on the floor while Nim jumps onto the snow covered furniture then pouncing on Nai as the two wrestle and play in the new winter wonderland.*

After noticing the snow Kaienrai walks outside to bare witness to the sight before him. He smiles widely, muttering "Impressive, Cor'Selu'Taar". With a mischievous grin, he calls two elven children over, whispering and making gestures with wild movements culminating in the shape of two large, fluffy snowballs. He casts a quick Haste spell on the children and says,
"A tale worthy of a King if you both can hit Kael and the First Mage with these snowballs". Gleefully, the children speed off to find their targets.

His sardonic grin slides off his face, leaving and increasingly panicked expression in its stead: "Eh...wha-? No...nono..." then, with a sigh, he quickens an invisibility weave and attempts at relocating, dodging the largest amount of snowballs he possibly can and studying interesting possibilities for Kai's new permanent shape...

Ithilwen's eyes widen as she sees the children start running towards her armed with snowballs in both hands. She manages to mutter some words in the arcane language just before the first snowball hits her and a quickened trickle of her gift shifts just above the location Kai is standing. A blue glow forms that spreads out into a white mass, like a cloud. The snowball hits Ithilwen and at the same moment, the cloud breaks open above Kai, a mass of fluffy snow falls down on him.
Despite the snowball hitting her shoulder she manages a slight grin as she notices Kai, covered in snow.
''What goes around...comes around...''
She then rapidly tries to dodge the second snowball seeking its target.

Mendel listens to all the commotion taking place at the First Mage's chambers and runs there. When he enters he takes a moment to assess the situation, while looking around.
"Nai... shift back" is the first thing he says, seeing her shaped into a winter wolf. He had to repeat the same words much too often lately, something that begins to worry him.
His gaze shifts towards Ithilwen and says to her playfully
"I hope your idea of fun is not to turn the entire village into one huge block of ice"
After greeting Deacon, he looks at Kael questioningly but pleasantly suprised to see him involved.

"Glad you are having fun, brother...yes, of course I am fine, thank you for asking...I am having the time of my life. And for your information," he chuckles nervously "yes, her idea of fun is in fact transforming the village into an ice cube..."
He keeps chuckling for long moments, before adding rather matter-of-factly: "Seriously, her idea of fun IS IN FACT transforming the village into an ice cube..." he looks around, concerned "Do you realize what this means? More happy children with snowballs...more rampaging wolf Nai and Nimcarak...more support to this madness from Kai...probably even Deacon will join in, once the snowball's hit effect wears off..."
Gaze shifting back and fort, he adds in a whisper: "Do...something...! Help...me!! And where is Fhaeo when you need some muscle?!?!?"

Re: En Dharasha Everae RP thread
The Elf watched as the Archmage slipped beneath an invisibility spell moments before the snowball flew his away. Snapping his fingers as the ball flew with no contact, he called back to the elven child who pouted her lips in disappointment and she mosied back to the bard.
Throroughly enjoying this and with a huge smile on his face, he was getting ready to hug the young one, when he staggered under the immense snowball overhead, dropping to one knee. He looks into the trees and this way and that way to see who could have thrown it then sees Ithilwen's mischievous grin. Laughing loudly, he gets up and wipes the snow off. Seeing her still looking at him, he bows low to the First Mage, shouting "WELL DONE!" as he stood back upright.
The weather was extremely chilly and the affects were starting to be seen in the children. The initial adrenaline from seeing snow waring off, they began shivering a bit. Kai whispered a few wards over the children to keep the cold off then beckoned them closer, whispering. "Treats from the south if you two can grace the Selu'Onal with snowballs. He loves them!" As the warmed children shouted wildly and began forming mini snowballs, he wrapped himself in his cloak for warmth and subsequently watched them run towards Mendel.
