Re: The What I'm Listening To Thread: Resurrection, take two
The song Cheryl and Merin sang for the White Mask Theatre's Tragedy:
The text file for the song. Just some thoughts.
I know a lot of people are like me and are way too lazy to type up anything original to present at these things . . . It's a lot of effort to actually have to think and do something original and most importantly, relevant, à la Hoosier_Daddy's Dominic De La Rosa or Memento_Mori's Llywelyn Cadwaldr. Relevance is important; if the players behind the screen cannot connect the words on the screen to something they already know or can react to, they are very likely to tune out and stop paying attention.
My suggestion is to cheat. Pick a popular song a lot of people know. In my experience we have a lot of Les Misérables fans in our community, so I chose this song. It might not be relevant to any roleplay they have going on, but if the players can imagine the song in their head, they don't need to read the text to know how the song goes, they are already engaged in their heads. Related. Just like that, most of your job is done.

Well! It's time, again, for me to share with you all some visually interesting music. The song itself is rather nice as well.
This one's not as unusual as my typical selections, but it's still quite interesting as visual media.
