Personality Profile:
Lumirran is a level-headed wizard, even for his age (by elven measures). He prefers logical solutions to brash decisions, but understands the need for haste in desperate situations. He is patient and forgiving, though seldom forgets a betrayal even after forgiveness is given for it. Due to his left eye being marred and that side of his face bearing a hideous scar he does not prefer the limelight in a party.
General Health:
Due to the loss of his left eye Lumirran is not at his best in combat situations. His ears are keen due to their elven heritage however, and he is otherwise in decent shape due to his adventuring ways. This may be even more-so than other wizards as a result of his use of sword and bow alongside his spells.
Deity: Mystra (Though he pays homage to a plethora of deities in varying situations).

Wizard (The idea behind Lumirran was to create a “practical” wizard who could solo at low levels if the need arose. He will eventually become an Arcane Scholar to compliment his Wizard levels. Beyond that nothing is planned.)
Habits/Hobbies:
Lumirran will turn his face to veil his scar so as to not frighten or unsettle those he speaks with, save for foes. He has a habit of apologizing too often. He enjoys reading, writing and listening. He also enjoys music, though he doesn't play or sing himself (at least not in the public eye). Lumirran also has a hobby of practicing with both a sword and bow to better implement them alongside his spells. It should be noted he focuses most of his “practicing” time on his magic, neglecting the aforementioned alternatives in comparison.

Background:
Lumirran of House Elloufin hails originally from Silverymoon, though his house goes back as far as Myth Drannor. Lumirran was raised as the second-son of his House and often found himself at odds with his elder brother. The eldest brother was haughty and short-sighted, often chastising and berating Lumirran over nothing. One day his elder brother forced Lumirran to steal an enchanted rod from their family's treasury – An heirloom that was restricted by magic to only answer to the master of their house. However, the elder brother wanted to see its enchantment nonetheless.
He forced the second-son to not only take the rod without permission, but then also had him attempt to activate its dorment powers. When Lumirran rightly refused, the elder brother revealed a wand and leveled it at his younger sibling. Without a choice, Lumirran attempted to call on the magics held within the rod, but due to its protective ward it caused the rod to misfire and blasted Lumirran's left eye and cheek with spellfire that both scarred and blinded him (in that eye alone). Once their father discovered what had happened he sought to discipline the elder boy, but was then deceived into thinking Lumirran acted alone. With no other choice the father exiled Lumirran from the House Elloufin.
However, feeling sympathy for his son he extended the banishment only to 200 years, and allowed Lumirran to keep the House name as his own even during his exile. The departure was a quiet, sad one for those of the House who knew in their heart of hearts that it was the wicked elder son who had orchestrated it all. However, without any evidence to prove such inner-thinkings the exile was forced to stand as a fitting punishment. Feeling dislocated and jarred, Lumirran soon left his home of Silverymoon altogether. He traveled along one of their most prominent tradeways and settled for a time in Waterdeep. However, time seems to move even slower when one is counting down the days. To keep his mind busy, Lumirran decided to pick up and move once again – Finding himself now on the Sword Coast; Lured by tales of Candlekeep.
Goals:
1.) Lumirran hopes to one day return to his House and expose his brother for who he truly is. He worries daily that his House may come to ruin before he can rightfully return in the wake of his brother's scheming.
2.) He wants to become an accomplished and respected wizard, and to ally himself with Candlekeep.
Possible Plot-Hook Ideas and Misc Facts:
Have his elder brother be so brazen as to secretly put a bounty on Lumirran's head under some false crime or pretense.
Have his elder brother summon some creature to hunt Lumirran specifically.
Have his father mysteriously die and his brother take the House for himself, thus prompting Lumirran to confront his elder brother early (to win or lose).
Lumirran secretly regrets not confronting his brother the day he forced him to steal and then use the magical rod. This causes him to forgo his usual logic and patience in order to not miss another opportunity to do what is right. He is also good at comforting others when they make mistakes due to his own empathy.
