I thought Keen Edge (spell) only worked on slashing, which spears are not. Although I have never actually tested this on a piercing weapon like a spear before.

Slashing and piercing I think. I'd doublecheck that though.

I looked over the feats to take and the only other feat I would have taken over Improved Crit would have been tower shield specialization for an extra AC. However since I am going to use an item to up my Int in order to use 7th circle arcane spells I decided that having Improved Crit Spear would save a spell slot at the very least and some gold on the regular in wands. Keen does indeed work on spears. Keen has to have sharp edges which a pointy object is certainly that. I already started the RCR and I am pretty sure this setup will be the best I can do within the classes chosen for Koryeneer. I really himmed and hawed over dropping certain stats and certain feats from the original build. What would you all suggest for a feat in placement of improved crit in that feat slot? There is really nothing else I can take at the moment that really gives me a mechanical edge at all. To be truthful Koryeneer would be far better as a pure fighter weapon master but that is not his RP. Maybe in the future he and Tyr can have something in common and Kory loses a hand negating his magic abilities and making him seek better martial prowess but for now he is a wizard fighter dragon slayer.

If you mean Luck of Heroes then I have it and took it at first level. Any other LOH feats that are possible with this acronym?

In this context, Luck of Heroes. It could also mean "Lay on Hands" but I have a feeling that isn't the case here.

Yeah that is what I figured. Like I said feat selection can be a bit of a hassle some times. That was the best option for the most mechanical advantage I could get. I guess Tower shield proficiency would be nice too but at some point AC is way beyond most of the creatures out there when you throw in ability to use Displacement and Mirror Image so I figured that being able to double my crit range was a better option without needing spells to do so thereby making my spear deadly at all times. Throw in Improved Knockdown and a Rage spell and you got even a dragon knocked down as I will be pushing 40 str when fully buffed and I cast a rage spell.
