Re: Thread of infinite appreciation!!
THANK YOU ALL! You all continue to be a place of peace and comfort for me when I am feeling aloof and out of sorts as a combat veteran. I could not stress more that all of you in some way have helped me to come home and be human. I hope to be around till the end of days here. May you all be excellent to each other as you have been to me. Peace be the journey!
<Is a heart felt and very happy cry THank you all again

Re: Thread of infinite appreciation!!
I wanted to give some belated thanks to a couple of DMs I recently had the honor of spending some of my time with:
DMogorgon, for his City of Brass event. It was a lot of fun playing the voice of reason (?), and the opportunity to visit an extra-planar city allowed Llywelyn the chance to do some shopping. Even if he did have to give all of those nosy adventurers the slip while they weren't looking his way.
And DM Setanta, for including me in his sahuagin attack on Ulgoth's Beard. It was the first (and dear gods I hope the last) time Llywelyn's had to wrestle a wet, slippery fish man on the beach. No thanks to Charraj for just standing there watching.
We appreciate all you do, DMs. You just give us so many stories to tell.

A huge 'Thank You' to DM Theophanies, for a nerve wrecking, terrifying, impossible exciting, extremely entertaining and just an all around very satisfying and fun event. I can honestly say that, that counts as one of the most entertaining experiences I have ever had on this server. You had me on the edge of my seat the entire time.
Thank You So Very Much!

Thank you Golem for being awesome. I know it isn't always easy to DM for us drow, but you did an amazing job, and everyone involved agrees. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I hope we can make it as fun for you, as you do for us. <3

Great event indeed DM Theophanies, I suspect more than one previous event lead up to it.
I am sure Qilinthia enjoyed the mild and moderate mannerism on display this cycle.
That little scene and other things occuring give a want for more of this tale spin.
Political powerplay in Sshamath again.. YAY!

Lol, thank you so much for the event and not perma-deathing my character lol. I really hope to see more, with Bel'iira's targets on Qilintha, I think it'll make for some interesting RP.Progressive-Psy wrote:Thank you Theophanies for a great event, and you did a good job dealing with our Illharess *shifty eyes* (p.s halo is awesome)

Re: Thread of infinite appreciation!!
Thank you to DMogorgon for all his help with setting up the basics for the Masquerade Ball even with his limited time. It is appreciated! A big thank you to DM Dhampir for helping out at the last minute with finishing touches and putting up with my endless suggestions. Couldn't have done it without you! Also thank you to Maecius, for his dippings of help here and there in the lead up to the event!
Miasmata of course, for being the other half of planning, organisation, preparation and execution of the event. I couldn't have asked for a better person to work alongside both IC and OOC to make this happen. *Chest bump*
Thank you also to the remaining Lathanderites for all the supporting RP, even those who couldn't make it. Deathgrowl and the White Mask Theatre for the music and entertainment! Lastly. . . a big thank you to YOU ALL whom attended. Your costumes and enthusiasm made it an entirely enjoyable endeavour.
I apologise if things were a little slow to start, and a little unorganised at times. It was our first time hosting such a large scale event, but despite the few hiccups along the way we are glad to have been able to do this. We hope to continue to do more things like this in future and get better with every one. The event wouldn't have been anything without all the attendees and supporters, so thank you.

Re: Thread of infinite appreciation!!
I had thought that Sveta's lack of a date would make the masquerade dim. I'm glad I was proven wrong, credit goes to the hosts. A special thanks goes out to a Red Wine Dragon and the Emperor for the dances.
A side thanks to the DM team and PCs for the political RP Sveta has found herself in. It certainly was not expected when I was considering her character concept many months ago and is creating such diversity to her RP and character development.
And sorry again for all of the typos! They seemed to be more rampant than usual today. Sveta only had one glass, I swear.

I'd also like to thank Miasmata and Hidennka for putting together the Song of the Morning Temple's First Annual Masquerade Ball. It was obvious that you both put a lot of work into it, and I think everyone who was there was able to have a good time.
I know I had a lot of fun with all of the politicking and socializing. Old Crow even got to hit the dance floor.
Special thanks to Cheryl Mae Castillo for being Llywelyn's date, to the dwarves Grimm and Duragin for the trade talk between drinks, and to Selis Vhaire, Delphinn Veil, and Elvina Aira-S'efarro for the all-around pleasant company.
