Alchemy - how does it work?

I was wondering if someone could explain how alchemy works on the server...i tried asking a few people ingame and looking through the forums but i couldnt figure it out >_<

It only works on a few select items dropped from creatures, and in certain spots in the game. There is no real crafting system.

Your alchemy score determines whether these items turn to gold or to a potion when used on an alchemy bench.

thats not even alchemy, its just a system they added ("the forge system") where you cast any spell on certain creature parts and you either get back gold or random potions, if you cant cast spells you can buy forge system wands that cast flare to do it with

normal alchemy isnt enabled
everyone is evil till proven otherwise

It still uses craft alchemy skill points. As does the collection of some shrubs.
