Subject: DM Rumours of the Sword Coast

Hin travelers to and from Gullykin and hin denizens within Gullykin are animated about the Mayor requesting aid of adventurers for tasks related to Durlag's Tower and the Gullykin Crypts as well as the Gullykin auction of a unique map of a previously untouched part of Durlag's Tower.

* Lady Elvina describes the Halfling that came to her, Seth , Jade, Celesorsan, Tyn, Lambe and others at the FAI asking for aid on Sunday for the Mayor of Gullykin who needs them to investigate Durlag's Tower and the Gullykin Crypts. Lady Elvina after a short conversation indeed offered the OSR's help today after their meeting at the Keep. *

*Lady Elvina calls an emergency meeting at the Keep this evening with the Commander, Generals and Knights who are available to attend.*

A crowd gathered in front of the Order of the Silver Rose Keep as some woman was informing the guards about a horrid scene that took place close to the keep itself. While she was explaining what happened, a bearded man wearing a cloak with insygnia of Mielikki wrote down her words, adding few of his own and then passed the report to the Silver Rose guards.

"The woman met a female-looking creature by the trade road, north from this keep. The description she gave fits the characteristics of a vampire: not breathing, with fangs instead of teeth. She claimed that the vampire asked her for a shiny object. She gave it a ring made of silver and a sword. Then, some adventurers familiar to the woman walked by. First, they joined the conversation but after a while they decided to attack the vampire with 'light' - I assume it was a spell of some sort. The efforts went in vain, the vampire proved to be immune to their magic. The woman ran off down the road to ask for help random adventurers, including me. When we arrived to the scene, the vampire was gone but there was a high-pitched voice coming out of a conifer. It spoke of illusions to be defeated and started invoking spells which resulted in vampires materializing before us. Once they were all destroyed, four adventurers decided to attack the invisible mage. The mage turned them all into chickens for a short period of time and ran away as he revealed himself. He was of a size comparable to an average gnome, wearing green robes and a wizard's hat".

"The Order of the Silver Rose is sponsoring a beach party for those interested in learning more about the Order. Festivities start at 7:00PM (est) tonight (2300 GMT) at the beach just south of Candlekeep. Food and drink provided."

I greet you and wish to say that I attended only the end of your Party however I was deeply impressed by the Image of OSR that I came to see. I found the members to be Polite and Friendly as I was invited in and Engaged in Conversation. The food as well as the Drink were Top Notch and the Set up of Tents was most Fitting of the Enviroment and the mood. I Hope that you managed to Find many new members to Fill out your Ranks. After Having read your Mission Statement I found myself Further impressed by both the Detail as well as the Commitment to the Cause.

I managed to Gain to Recruits for Trust During the Party. Neither were Fitting Candidates for the OSR however. I offer my Appreaciation for affording me the Chance to Increase the Size of my Own Guild. Eldarian Al’maire and Eleanor Valo approach the gate of the Silver Rose on behalf of the Song of the Morning temple in Beregost. They are seen giving warm smiles to the posted Knights as they converse and then hand over a basket to be delivered within the Order’s halls.

The basket smells of freshly baked blueberry pies and a donation to the Order lies within. There’s also a small note attached, to be given to the Commander or whoever else was concerned.

Arriving at her last stop the young woman seems quite tired but she offers the guards a bright smile nonetheless as she gives them some sweet lemon cookies on behalf of the Song of the Morning temple. After exchanging a few pleasantries and perhaps a flirtatious smile or two Eleanore makes her way to the Friendly Arms Inn to rest before going back home to Beregost.

A tall and powerful looking Aasimar (with pointed Elven ears) would approach the OSR keep near the FAI, turning to speak to the two guards. He would be wearing a red and black trim heavy armor with an assortment of weaponry on his person; including a Greatsword sheathed upon his back, a heavy silver shield trimmed in gold hanging over that, a longsword sheathed on his right hip, a mace slung on his left, and an unstrung longbow attached to his back sheath.

Giving his name as Cal'faer Mithanil (in a most polite and respectful tone to the guards) he would ask that his name be passed along as someone who is interested in the Order of the Silver Rose and wants to talk further about its goals and purpose; perhaps in lending his swordarm to their cause. He would further say that while he currently takes residence in Beregost he often travels along the Trade way between Beregost and Baldur's Gate, helping to keep the way clear for innocent travelers. Leaving a note with Bentley over at the FAI would prove an easy way to get a hold of him.

Once his business was finished the man would walk away South, presumably to patrol the roads once more...

Upon hearing the report of a man, named Cal'faer Mithanil, approaching the Keep and asking for further information regarding the Order, Aaron Lyonaler would ask any of the Knights or Squires that come across the man to offer him a copy of the Code to ponder over.

A large group of adventurers saw Lady Elvina, Sir Seth, Lady Gina and Lady Missy teleport in to the front lawn of the Order of the Silver Rose the other night. They were beat up, bloodied and battered. The uncharacteristic look on Elvina's face was one of sheer terror. It is also rumored that Seth was carrying the body of an unconscious dwarf... those that know Cyrus Stonehold would know it was his body being carried of those that were there outside the Keep as witness. It's clear they were in some great battle whose outcome no one outside the Keep yet is aware of.

Sitting at his writing desk, in the Commander's quarters, Aaron called for the page stationed outside his door to retrieve a file containing an incident between Lady Missy and a dwarf of Kraak Helzak. The young teen, a hopeful candidate for eventual Squire-hood in the illustrious Silver Rose, rushed off to retrieve the documentation, as the Commander sat pondering over his words to the dwarf. It had been some time since he had last seen or spoken with Revenark. Aaron hoped he was still as jovial and cordial as he had once been to him.

A rolled up letter sealed in wax with the stamp of a phoenix rising from flame is delivered to the Order of the Silver Rose via a courier dressed in the livery of the Order of the Radiant Heart.
