Return to the City of Brass

The elder circle had continued scouting the sunset mountains searching for information on the rift which tore between the Prime and Fire plane. The party finds and closes some residual rifts among the mountain range. Unbenounced to them, their inquiries into the mountain are being watched. The king of that particular mountain reveals himself that day, in all his terrible glory.

As they depart the mountain the group has the feeling that they may have had an encounter few have survived in the past.

After the party finds time to regroup, they gather allies and return to the city of brass seeking to make sense of events.

The Will Save

A wretched deep gnome is wandering through the darkwood warrens sifting through the trash. He comes upon a curious sight. An extravagant table with a spread of fine foods, and some interesting dinner guests. Four drow - 2 male and 2 female, capable adventurers from the looks of it - stood at one side of the table, four Illithid at the other. They stood quietly, intently staring at each other. Sometimes members from one side or the other would twitch slightly, and recompose themselves. This went on for some time.

Finally, one of the Mind Flayers approached one of the males and led him to a seat. He then proceeded to protrude into his ear canal with its' tentacles. *STARTLED* the gnome ran to Sshamath to alert the guards, dropping trash along the way.

Shadow magic at play

A delegation of Red Wizards is seen coming down the Trade Way to the Order of the Silver Rose compound. After a short conversation outside the keep, they returned to the enclave at Baldur's Gate with a handful of OSR knights.

After a disturbance within earshot of the FAI walls, several adventurers are apprehended and put in stocks for the night. Several baskets of old fruit are set out for public entertainment.

Prompted by dreams of an old haunting, an adventurer gathers his allies to scour the underbelly of Baldur's Gate in effort to find the source of his restless nights.

Deep in the Misty Forest, the elves stir as natural forces assault their village and the forest around them.

Mass Demonstrations

Mass anti-Zhentarim demonstrations are held in the towns of Scornubel and Elturel following rumors of calls among the Lords Alliance to take up arms against them. Local forces, including the Hellriders of Elturel, lead the gathered peasantry in calls of denouncement against the Zhetarim threat to the Northeastern Sword Coast. The publics calls for the Zhentarim to be held to account for the fate of Triel and their transgressions against the Radiant Heart. The mob calls for the Lords Alliance to muster forces against this threat, while lionizing the Order of the Radiant Heart for their courage in standing steadfast against the shadow cast from the Sunset Mountains.

The Lathanderites put on a masquerade ball in Travenhurst Manor in Beregost.

Hoar: Impending Doom

Drums and oaths of vengeance roar as faithful and those paying Homage to Hoar gather at the Helm and Cloak Inn at Baldur's Gate to erect a small bonfire an conduct ceremonies of Impending Doom.

Several caravans begin arriving from Elturel and the other small trade towns of the Northern Sword Coast as migrants flee among whispers of war. Some of these caravans fall prey to threats along the dangerous Northeastern Trade Road.

Kraak Helzak: Miners BreakThrough

Shortly after their Miners breakthrough to some caverns amongst their digging, soldiers of Kraak Helzak ascend from the mining operations with a prisoner who spouts fanciful tales. A party of dwarven scouts is mustered to scout out the tunnels and verify or debunk the prisoners tales.

Storm Clouds Gather over Thay

Baldur's Gate is battered by a particularly nasty storm. Priests at the temple of umberlee go to give offerings at the docks but receive no respite. Those in the East Gate District look out through their windows suspiciously, as the Thayan Enclave is struck violently and repeatedly by lightning. Several adventurers go to investigate.

The Will of Talos & the Ritual of Jergal

After much plotting, conspiring and thunderous machinations, all the artifacts are gathered, and the ritual completed. As the hand which moved all the chess pieces so deftly reaches out to grasp its prize, it is stopped by a wielder of light. Nevertheless, something is unleashed into the world, a power perhaps no mortal should wield... what will become of it?

Zhentarim Caravans have been experiencing raids along the Northern Trade routes of the Sword Coast of late. While the official reports have been claiming food and clothing - supplies for the harsh winter - were stolen, rumors persist of shouting throughout the halls of Darkhold regarding lost weapon shipments.

One of the elven faithful receives a vision for the coming Lunar Eclipse.

Arrests at the Temple of the Morninglord

As the sun sets and a cold rain falls upon Beregost, the town sheriff and several guards are seen approaching the Temple of Lathander. They encounter several Lathanderites and their guests as they are leaving the temple following a meeting. Rumors begin to spread around the township that the Amnian Authorities arrested the Lathanderite Eldarian Al'maire, and took him to the town hall. They say he surrendered without incident, though there may have been some altercations inside the town hall that night.


As dawn rises over the town, a small crowd is already gathered outside town hall. Please can be heard near the front of the crowd questioning why the guard would contend with the town's beloved divine protectors. Near the rear of the gathering, a few anti-Amnian slur's can be picked up over the chatter of the bewildered and anxious crowd.
