A dark robed elven wizard is seen discussing with one of these well informed traders during their stay in the Gate, apparently very interested in the details of this mysterious happenings.
Upon departing from the traders, he delivered a message sealed in black wax with the words "For master Grimm's eyes only" uttered in a blank tone, before slowly walking away, a gliding black cloud of silk and velvet.
This twisted culture got you feeding from its hand
But you will lose that food if you don't meet all their demands
And loyal is the soldier that gets slaughtered with the lambs
Examining the blueprints got you questioning the plans
Olaf listens carefully as Khelgar explains his findings. Judging from all the blood and the map from the skin of the Derro's back, coming up with this information wouldnt have been an easy task. He seems unphased by the macabre sight, with a faint smile drawn on his face. The slayer glances at Matty and whispers to her
"This is it Matty. This is the chance to fullfil my oaths and regain my lost honour. I dont expect to come back from this, nor should anyone else who joins this mission. I just pray to get as many Derro with me as possible"
*Matilda looks to Olaf and lets out a resounding "AYE !! The King will be avenged on me honor!!" She then barrels down the Dwarven halls to train as her voice booms again " Wide Load Commin Through! "

The wise elder Dakor Ironfaar of the Ironfaar clan has called for an assembly in the Council Halls, a meeting place where all dwarves of Kraak Helzak can be heard on public matters. The topic up for discussion is rumoured to be diplomatic relations with Baldur's Gate after a certain well known incident.
Word reaches willing ears that meetings with OOSR and EDE have taken place separately, each having improved the diplomatic status towards Kraak Helzak.
Do not wake the sleeping beast,
Lest the beast, come out to feast.
Axe held high, bringing shields of steel,
That beast will make you his next meal.
Have you ever seen an angry dwarf?
Prolly barely survived? Of course, of course.
With arms the size of trunks, and a head like a rock,
The stout ones will fight to gain that last nock.
When a dwarf comes-a-chargin,
Hidin's the best bargain,
Fightin's a fool's game,
Your family'll soon forget your name.
Do not wake the sleeping beast,
Lest the beast, come out to feast.
Axe held high, bringing shields of steel,
That beast will make you his next meal.
Breed from the mountains, ore in their blood,
You wake the beast, prepare for the flood.
They fight with conviction, determination in their soul,
They fight for their King, until the last roll.
You'll always hear them coming, they make no secret o'that,
When the Dwarves come thunderin, run, just leave your hat.
For theirs no mightier force, than when the dwarves go to war,
Both dragons and man, cower from afar.
Do not wake the sleeping beast,
Lest the beast, come out to feast.
Axe held high, bringing shields of steel,
That beast will make you his next meal.
With the wits of Dugmaren, the protection of Dumathoin,
With a goal in mind, the Hells they be overthrowin.
With Clangeddin watching over and Berronar watching back,
Haela will smile her grace, and Moradin will guide the attack.

AlwaysSummer Day wrote:Duragin, Revenark Stonehold, and The Voltmar make their way south into the cloud peaks intent on honing their skills and weakening the giant presence in the peaks. While resting in the foothills they group is stumbled upon by an Amnian Patrol making for a citadel southwest of the mountain range. After initial issues communicating due to thick dwarven accents it is agreed the two groups would merge and traverse the terrain together. With very little challenge the group makes it clear to the other side. Yeti, Frost giants, and even air elementals stand no chance as the group cuts them down in the name of Amn and the Dwarves of Kraak Helzak.
At last they stumble upon an enclave of Duergar and their prowess is challenged. With the help of a young woman who joined them along the way they dispatch the monsters. The fight is long and hard and it wasn't until the Amnian patrol stepped in that the Duergar were overwhelmed. The two groups bid farewell with the Patrol heading to the Citadel and the Dwarves intending to travel the road south to establish relations with the Amnian Court.
As the young woman departs back up into the mountain the thuds of giants boots stomping their way down can be heard. She fled back down then mountainside to the dwarves and glorious and honorable battle ensued. These Giants were not the same weaklings faced before. These were the battle tested veterans supported by many mages able to throw spells seemingly drawn from the hells themselves. The group barely survives and soon find themselves facing an uphill battle against an army of veteran frost giants.
It is a little foggy what happened next. However when the group came to the dwarf known as Revenark seemed to have a letter of warning on him. The letter seemed to suggest that the dwarves were left alive as a warning for adventurers to stop attacking frost giants. Unfortunatly the dwarves had to pass by the frost giants in order to make their way back to Nashkel for supplies and rest. They made it as far as the bridge only in time to see a frost killed by lightning and the rest apparently gathering to finish the dwarves off.
The battle began abruptly with one of the most powerful frost giant mages leading the way. By the grace of Marthammor Duin, or perhaps the Defenders oaths, or maybe even the Battle Ragers reckless abandon all the high mages entourage fell one by one leaving it alone and surrounded. It was running out of spells and had to encircled with it's back to the cliff. It was at this time a large band of adventurers appeared. They seemed to come from nowhere and were quick to jump in and assist the dwarves with their final opponent.
A final push by the less experienced giants in the south was met by this entourage of a dozen adventurers along with the dwarves. A great many of them were knocked out however only one dwarf was. The battle was finally over.
The amnian force that was relieved by the Patrol that had traveled with them earlier arrived to see the carnage. The were told the tale as it was recounted by several people at once. The dwarves decided to proceed south towards Athkatla rather then attempt another journey north. It may be possible for them to establish relations with Amn after all. Even if it isn't one of the soldiers did mention Waukeen's Promenade which could prove profitable. . . .
