I would also like to thank DM Dialectic and DM Arkanis for the roleplay in Athkatla. It was an extremely memorable visit. And I got to feed a talking cat. All in all a good day.

Thank you DM Golem, for once more playing with me. I had great fun, and though there were only a minimal amount of danger involved, you had me at the edge of the seat, close to crossing my fingers (I won't blame my spelling on that though).
And thank you Grymhild, for being an excellent priestess and emoting a ritual with such involvement that I had a hard time keeping up with you throughout most of it. The details you put forth into the ritual was both moving and impressive.
Thank you. =)

I have managed to steer clear of this thread for a looooooooong time, but I am about to lose my integrity as a dedicated anti-thankyouthread advocate as it has come that point where saying thank you in private simply isn't enough. I will have you know that I am fully cringing as I type this. gd it.
I would like to thank everyone who worked on and contributed to the first issue of The Baldur's Gate Herald. It has been a fun experience and some very pleasant rp came as a result. I hope it will continue indefinitely.
Hitman Hard - Thank you for sticking to it, I am sure Valiant and Jon will clash on things sooner or later and I look forward to that RP. The Triel article was more than I could have ever wanted.
The player of "Felicia Rambler" - Thank you for writing an amazing story and giving us permission to use it for the creative corner.
Tsidkenu - we haven't RPed that much as our playtimes do not always match, but I am looking forward to more RP in the future. The astrology section gives the Herald a special touch I would say. Jon fully expects his stars to be read!
Kayan - I am looking forward to RPing with you and working on the next issue of the herald, your insight into things both IC and OOC was invaluable.
VanillaRose - thank you for the RP with Jon at the time when Selis was only known as Clanae. It was very pleasant. I hope more will come in the future, in whatever form or shape.
Piamang - thank you for the interview Jon had with Sveta. It was a bit rushed and improvised. I promise next time Jon will send a few general premade questions to Sveta in advance to give her an opportunity to prepare (though don't count out a surprise question or two
)
Endelyon - You are one of the few people that keep me glued to this server. Now I know coming from me that might sound like a curse sometimes... but truly, thank you.
(if I forgot anyone I apologize. I am exhausted)

That's alright, Jon. The admission of contradictions is honorably gritty, and this is by far the best "guild" I've had the pleasure of being apart of. You and Endelyon have been resolutely patient and encouraging from the beginning in helping me chip away at my this doesn't look good enough mentality. I see you put me at the top of the list which is even more raw, so, have a virtual beer on me!

Id like to give a huge shout to DM Golem, Dharasha and our visitors during the EDE Fair.
My apologies for having to log but I don't think I've had a more enjoyably event. Ever. A three hour RP event that kept me smiling and laughing and thoroughly entertained.
Thank you everyone for the superb and satisfying RP!
P.s. Remember that time Kael blew up the villagers?

Thank you to everyone who participated in Tolan's birthday event at the Blade and Stars last night. It was great fun to witness how the RP took on a life of its own as random people joined and left.
Next year, Tolan will send out invities in due time, I promise!

It was a lot of fun! As I told Kael in a tell yesterday, this is the kind of thing my character, Laitae, lives for. Wish I had more chances to do this stuff!TheKai wrote:Id like to give a huge shout to DM Golem, Dharasha and our visitors during the EDE Fair.

Too bad there probably won't be another time, considering Kael incinerated the entire village, eh?

Thats how Kael deals with problems!
"What is the problem? We need to convince the native elves about something? That is easy! Lets kill them all"
All joking aside, thanks to everyone that was there, especially DM Golem for being patient and doing his best.
And Kael is a really nice guy, loyal and caring... unless you are on his bad side

Thank you Golem, and thank you all, my dear brothers and sisters, for witnessing my astounding performance. I hope the destruction of all that had been prepared and the death of women, children, Elders and basically everyone in sight apart from those in party has filled you with glee, and shown that YES, the arcanes ARE WORTH YOUR TRUST, and there is literally NO REASON to FEAR them!!
Now that the people are with us (I mean...they're in our hearts...they always will be...because there's no chance anything else remained after that...), we surely have free rein in adding the Arcane Study to Dharasha, a bulwark against evil protecting the...memory...of the free folk of Dharasha who have so selflessly given their lives to make this all possible.
One of the highest points of Mastery of Shaping ever.
And yes, Mentalist's assessment could not be more accurate...

Special Thanks to DM Dialectic for putting up with a series of really bad ideas.

I agree! Thank you all for the fun evening! I was laughing a lot! The ashes of Dharasha... Hmm... How fitting
