Re: Thread of infinite appreciation!!
I'd like to thank all the players that attended with their Dwarven or Gnome characters at the last Kraak Helzak event! It sure was fun. Even the conflict that sparked at the end of the event, with Dwarves defending the honour of their respective houses. I am very happy that Kraak Helzak has so many players frequenting the hold now! You make the hold feel alive and vibrant!

A belated box of caramel filled, espresso-dusted dark chocolates for DM Ghost for all the hard work you've done so far during your haunts. I may not have the most cooperative toon, but I noticed the effort you're putting in to be inclusive and I really appreciate it.
Don't eat all of the chocolates at once! ...Provided a Ghost eats. Does it?

Re: Thread of infinite appreciation!!
This time last year, I'd fired up NWN2 and logged into the BGTSCC server as a new player. Not only new to the server, but to roleplaying and Dungeons & Dragons as a whole - never having experience a persistent world before. A few weeks later, I signed onto the forums. What a year it has been, truly. I've seen Cecilia grow from a sheltered noble whom knew very little of the outside world (see what I did there?) to a strong, well-known knight and more. I'd had a great time meeting each and every one of you ICly, even if for a fleeting moment. My RP door is always open, and I welcome future interaction.
There are many people I need to and should mention, a whole community who took me in as fresh meat and allowed me to learn and experience a whole new world. Honestly, thank you. There have been ups and downs, days better than others but without any of it, I wouldn't have had and appreciated the good times I did, nor met some truly wonderful people. I know I wouldn't be able to name them all, however, so I am simply going to single out two people who have made a tremendous impact on me and I am eternally grateful to have had the pleasure of knowing:
Kleomenes, whose characteremo-priest Ameris was one of the first people I met IC within my first week of playing and has been there every step of the way since. Even if he is a glutton for punishment and possibly giving Cecilia grey hairs, there is a reason why he is in a good 70% of my screenshots and I've enjoyed every moment. Miasmata. Brobeans. The genius behind Cecilia's better half of ten months, Eldarian. . . man, have we seen some stuff. I owe so much to your patience, understanding and friendship. Thank you both for always indulging me with RP of the highest standards, for OOCly sending my sides to the moon and back in laughter and for allowing me to be a small part of your journeys within the game. Oh! And I need to mention Mausman as well - always a delight!

Friends, enemies, frenemies, DMs, ADMs, Admin, Devs, those I still have yet to RP with and a very flexible Humphrey the pig.
Thank you for the last twelve months.
Additionally, as a current aside I just want to thank nonee and DM Pun Pun for involving me in Berea's current plot. Not only have I had a very enjoyable few days RPing alongside you, Ivan and Sparrow but it has done wonders in having Cecilia use and explore her new faith in a very captivating way.Thank you for the last twelve months.

I am still amazed at how new you were to RP when you first started here. There have been, as there always are on RP servers, ups and downs; but your character is now an essential part of my character's story (FOR GOOD OR ILL) and my experience here has been singularly enriched by the presence of your RP!
So a thank-you right back.
(perhaps its time I did my own thank-you post, its been a while... ungrateful sod I am)

Vanilla Rose, really wonderful work with the gazette. What a wonderful resource for the player base of the server! Well designed and a great tool to propagate RP in a fashion that is completely IC. Any characters that are literate in common can now properly be informed of ongoing events

Cheers to you!

Congratulations on reaching the one-year mark, Hidennka!
Well done, Humphrey!
More on topic, a big thank you to DM Dialectic for all of the help he's given us over at the Sword Coast Commercial Exchange. I know the idea of "merchant roleplay" puts a few people to sleep, but I am really having a blast.
So on that note, also a HUGE thank you to the SCCE peeps for putting up with Llywelyn and his many strange behaviours. He means well (. . . probably), and I'm having a lot of fun with you guys.

Really now! Humphrey gets a mention, and I don't? So this is what it feels like for one's priestly familiar to outshine one's priestly PC? Actually, it feels kind of good. I think I approve.Hidennka wrote:. . . and a very flexible Humphrey the pig . . .

Pffff. You only didn't get an actual mention because everyone else would get jelly, see how it is? But. Yes. Thank you as well Memento Mori, especially for all of Thomas' well timed hug-attacks. The end. (Waaa nostalgia)

Re: Thread of infinite appreciation!!
Thank-you to everyone who was at the council meeting in the Temple of Helm in Nashkel last night. Lots of drama and intrigue, and some quite memorable RP on either side of it!
Special thanks to Piamango and Calvinus for organising the thing and keeping their Watch; and of course to DM Theophanies/Sventar!
-----------------------------------------------
I am going to take the opportunity as well to thank Nomster for all the "off script" RP there has been recently between our characters. Recent developments have been unexpected and not entirely controlled! RP by dice roll ftw! I'm unsure what RP there is in the future but I am looking forward to it! Claws!

I would like to echo the thanks said to the Helmites in Nashkel as well as everyone attending. Quite a tense moment!

Always fun.
Telia did for a while actually have "Ruin Ameris" as her character goal.
Ahh... character development!

Thanks everyone, new friends and old... for the warm welcome back on the few moments I've been able to log in lately. Thanks especially for not looking at me weird while I remember how to operate NWN2 all over again.

Thank you to everyone who attended the Open Stage event at the White Mask Theater! It was a delight to see so many in the audience as Selis took to her stage as a hostess for the first time in over four years.
I look forward to seeing a packed place again in the future.

To my man ShornofTheAges as well as YourMoveHolyMan and the player of bandit.
The three of you reminded me of my characters root RP and inspried me, and I've thoroughly enjoyed our RP.
To my mainstays Piamango, Hoihe, and PowerJacob. You three were largely responsible in my continued interest in my main character and her development. Thank you all much.
Oh, and i can't forget the one and only commanderkrieg. We have spent many hours together with QUALITY, entertaining RP. You inspire me pretty much everytime you log on.
Thanks all of you so much
