Anyone who wears a cloak

I've done some rain hiking before. It is miserable. I had a light goretex tent as a "cloak". I still fast-trotted most of the 21 miles that day, with pack on.

(the blister on my heel was bigger than a half dollar!))

Not sure I understand this question. In real life, do you run when it rains?

Depends on whether or not I'm wearing my cloak.

All the groups I've been with have always shared loot equally, some even generously giving their loot away to the others. The one exception to this was when I played with my RL brother who stole all the chests with the reasoning "Karond, you're filthy rich"

I think you can walk towards archers firing on you, within reason, if you're using a tower shield? :)

I do.

When I wore glasses I would try to protect them, but now I just keep my head up and walk to where I need to go. If it is pouring, I am going to get wet anyways, why be tired and be wet at the same time?

The "Loot Hounds" can be annoying. But call them out. If your character won't say something cause they are scared to say anything... RP it. *looks anxious about Loothound1 always rummaging through the corpses, but looks too shy to say anything about it*

The Walking is fine, when going from point A to B... But once you get into the 'zone' and your 1 minute/level buffs are on... moving a bit quicker is more economical. I know I run in between fights... but walk when I am just travelling around.

If the staff wants to change all the spells to 10 minutes/level I am ALL for that.
If the text is this color, I am on duty, everything else is just my humble opinion.

In a country where it rains 9 out of 10 times, you kinda tend to walk even if it is pouring. Then again, you tend to be prepared for it to rain too.

I'm very happy to say that while Desrah (my pc) is likely one of the most greedy people around, she is only guilty of this with her closest friends who she knows are happy to step back and let her be the greedy B* she is. Just yesterday, for instance, I was in a fantastic group with those she doesn't know quite so well, and she was not only the leader, but very insistent that not only do we kept the pecking order going from chest to chest, but that
we remained in the dungeon until the very last person had a shot at boss loot *knowing that another would return to claim the area just as soon as they realized it's previous inhabitant was put down*... So. this may be true for many, but not all. I assure you, there are those of us out there that do still very much want everyone to have their fair share.

Another thing I have done in the past is have one person collect everything, then sell it off and divvy up the loot.. of course, it just depends on how the group wants to do things.. There's also nothing wrong with having your pc stand up and say "Hey. Person X, this is really not ok. Why don't you stand back and let other people have a shot at the loot, before I take a shot at your rump"
That is a great ideal about the 'round-robin' or sell and split the coin is equally fair.
{I deleted some stuff here after some thought and editing the reply}

"Shooting them in the rump" is a novel ideal that I also liked! I may keep that option on the table. :D

Edit: After thinking about it, I will follow your advice on 'saying something' and add this.
To imply that the burden in some way rests upon people to say something, suggests that their actions are in someway ok until then... No, just no.

.
Silence does not imply approval.
Silence implies complacency.

Saying something in no way makes it ok until something is said.
Saying something is informing the person who's being a jerk, that he is in fact, being a jerk. Something he may well not be aware of or even consider until having it pointed out.

Take a page from Desrah's book.
When someone's acting stupid, don't hesitate to be the first to point it out.
When someone's being a prat or jerk, tell them. It's a teaspoon of medicine best served quickly and without hesitation.
