Habits/Hobbies: She has a habit of -demanding- respect for herself and her Ilharess. She will oft times smack those not showing proper respect with her bow in an effort to force them to bow. Her hobby is along the lines of seeking treasure from chests or other hidden places, after all "With great wealth, comes great power".

Languages: Drow, Drow sign, Elven, undercommon, common, Assassin, draconic, gnome, goblin, orc

Weapon of Choice: longbow

Background: Tedia was not always a Dev'lin. She was from a lessor Qu'ellar in Szith.

Tedia is the second daughter to a second daughter and as such has always been disappointed in her standing within her Qu'ellar. Several of her siblings began having "fatal accidents" over the cycles, including her elder one. Tedia was watched "closely" within her Qu'ellar and constantly reminded that their strength would come ... in time ... but they needed numbers to grow, more then individual strengths. Tedia vehemently disagreed, her faith in Lolth with her teachings of strength and chaos drove her on, even through the ever watchful eyes following her every move.

Then one day, the unthinkable happened. A slave .... A SLAVE ! pushed her out of the way at the market. The slave neither took the time to apologize, nor bow. A wild look in his eyes as if driven madly to complete whatever task it was he was set forth to do.

Tedia did not think .. driven by her own rage at such an act by a lowly slave. She followed him through the market until he stopped before a certain vendor. When the slave stopped ... Tedias dagger did not, driving deep into the slaves lower back, thrusting upwards into his heart. She stands there for a long moment looking down at her handiwork, a grin spreading across her face as she wipes the blood from her blade and hand.

She felt justified in her actions, satisfied in the results, but then she looks closer at the slave. Her eyes widen and her grin fades as she sees the markings on the slave .... the markings of Qu'ellar Dev'lin. Still ... she was justified ... there were witnesses .. the entire market was now looking at her. They all saw ... they would tell what they saw...

It was but three cycles later when her Ilharess was "summoned" to present herself, and the one who had murdered her slave in the square. So now she is a part of an entourage headed to the biggest and strongest Qu'ellar in Szith.

Once there Tedia ... and her Ilharess are drawn into an inner chamber to meet the Dev'lin Ilharess, Qilintha. There are no witnesses from the market, no one at all who had seen any part of what had happened.

Tedia swallows hard as she watches her Ilharess approach Qilintha and bow to her, whispering to her while motioning back in -her- direction. Tedia looks side to side to see if the motion could imply anyone else ... -anyone- else, but no .... she stood there ... very much alone. Then she hears words spoken aloud "as promised Ilharess Qilintha, here she is. The lowliest of our daughters, delivered to you ... to do as you see fit. We gladly surrender her to you, to avoid any further hostilities between our two Qu'ellars." She bows once more and leaves, not even glancing in Tedias direction, almost as if glad to be rid of her.

At first panic sets in "what do I do? where do I hide?" she says in her own mind. -Then- Tedia does the unthinkable, instead of bowing, instead of groveling at Qilinthas feet begging for her own life ..... begging not to be placed on an altar of Lolth. Tedia stands proud, staring Qilintha in the eyes and shouts out at the top of her lungs "LOLTH TLU MALLA !!!!"

It was many cycles before she awoke from her unconscious state, but, when she did ... she found that she was now the handmaiden to the most powerful ilharess Szith may have ever known. Lolth had stayed the hand of the one who now stood over her, for what reasons she may never come to know. Lolth had stayed the hand .... and seen fit to place her in a place ... a position ... of untold opportunities. "Lolth tlu malla" she repeats to no one there.

Goals: She knows she is not a priestess and thus can never grow to be the Ilharess, but, as handmaid to the most powerful Ilharess Szith had ever known, she aspires to grow in her own power and standing within the house through proof of deeds.

Possible Plot-Hook Ideas: She is -always- in search of any relics, artifacts, or other such items that are from or related to Lolth. Items that would bring instant recognition from her Ilharess as to her true worth within the Qu'ellar. She does not care who she may "smack" with her bow when it comes to demanding respect for herself or her Ilharess. She is too quick to react ... and too slow to think about her actions when involving her deity, her Ilharess or her Qu'ellar ... pretty much in that order.

Misc Facts: Not long after arriving to Sshamath, she traveled with two others to the crypts, where she was accosted by a heretic, an ancient vampire, it was only through the help of one of those traveling with her that she escaped, drained of blood, but, at least not turned.
